Friendly staff, even when i came before official check-in time (was totally ready to leave luggage in reception/storage and walk around) they let me in. appreciated

Really, there was not much to like. I got into the hotel after a long day of travel. The receptionists then asked for my ID which I gave her. She then insisited on me giving her my children who are both very much minors I.D's of which I refused. The 2 ladies at the front, then isisted that it was a requirement. I travel several times every few months and always with my children. NEVER ever have I been asked for their IDs. Obviously, at this point of banter that continued at least 5 minutes I was annoyed, and told them to return my money, I will contact an attorney and that the fact that we are black does not constitute different rules for us. They then changed their tone. The room was past basic, looked nothing like the photos and you need to use a keycard for the lights. The dish box sits infront of the television, literally blocking the screen. Never again. I stayed here out of desperation to get a passprt appointment. NEVER AGAIN! Ironically, I moved on to our other city the next day, stayed at a 4 star hotel and was never asked for the ID's of my children. You pay for the mentality of people they hire. Brainless.
