Very nice property and a nice hotel! The immediate area around it is not the best but was not terrible.

I stayed at Sofitel Nile El Gazerah for 10 days . We had the most nice vacation at this luxurious hotel . Every thing was great from Dining option . They have a breakfast buffet many delicious option from ethnic Egyptian food , health Mediterranean diet , Coffe Coffee here is the best . Samy at the hotel reception is a very nice gentleman man . He found my wallet in the hotel’s bathroom immediately he maid international phone call to let me know he found my wallet , Ahmed at housekeeping is also nice , all the hotel security staff are very helpful, definitely I recommend this hotel because it has the most swimming pool looks directly on the Nile .

Beautiful hotel with great facilities- pool, range of restaurants, gym, hairdressers and spa. The breakfast was plentiful and all freshly prepared, definitely worth getting.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, however service was breakfast slow and often staff forgot your requests.
We travelled around Cairo using Ubers as the hotel services were far too expensive but I think that is to be expected with a 5* hotel.
We felt very safe in the hotel, thorough checking of all guests into the hotel. However, there wasn’t a lot of shops/ restaurants in walking distance to the hotel, just a lovely park.

I had an amazing stay at the Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah. Our room was a nice size and we had a view of the Nile River. The staff was so gracious and courteous and made sure our stay was pleasant. I think I loved the staff the most but I would want to mention it was in a great location with easy walks to dining as well.
I loved my stay so much I can’t wait to go back and when I go back to Cairo I am definitely staying at the Sofitel.

The property is beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and the bed was is excellent. Service in restaurants was a bit slow, but perhaps this is common in Egypt. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel gets loud in the morning with the heavy equipment starting on the addition. Music is loud until about 2 am, even on the 22nd floor.

Main issue we had was smoking from adjacent room seeping in from connecting door as well as noisy neighbours. Food is v good however and pool and outside areas all pleasant. Transport onto Cairo sightseeing all easy and cabs etc can be called with ease and quickly.
