Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Restaurants nearby. CoOp is just opposite to the hotel, so convenient.

Fantastic service from the two sisters, who couldn't do enough for you, at breakfast. Excellent location, close to city centre and with free carpark. The only complaint I have is on arrival I was told I had to pay £15 as I booked "through a third party, but this will be refunded straight away". Sadly this was not the case. I know it was only £15, but unhappy that I was lied to! Is this one way of management getting more money out of people? I have tried to get this refunded unsuccessfully.

Good location & staff was excellent, but the room we rented needed repairs.

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean but very outdated. Toilet would not flush properly. Room was very Hot at night and that was in September and very cool temps outside. I would not stay there again.

Friendly staff, excellent Full English breakfast. Careless on check-in, key cards activated for only one day. We were locked out on second day, but receptionist was present and came to the door. Check your card, receptionist goes home about 10pm, panic call to their main hotel (The Arundel) would be needed.

The only thing I liked were the sheets and towels were clean. I don’t mind it being old and needing an update but dirty is another thing. When arriving I was shocked at the outside condition. Then you cannot get in until 3 as the hotel is locked with no receptionist. The breakfast was ok but felt sorry for the waitresses as so busy and obviously under staffed. Would never stay here again

We reserved a two night “non-refundable” stay here in July 2025. After checking in to room 9, we discovered: 1) the toilet wouldn’t flush, 2) the shower drain was clogged and pooled up, and 3) one of the sink’s faucet handles just fell off. After calling the front desk and asking for a different room or repairs to these issues, we were told that they couldn’t help us. After only 2 hours, we decided it was not an acceptable room for our family of 3, booked a new hotel, and checked out. Even though the Hotel Manager agreed that the room state was unacceptable, this property will not refund us for our stay, claiming it was a “non-refundable” booking. They failed to provide the facilities we paid for, yet still charged us even though we didn’t stay there. This establishment severely lacks integrity.

Clean comfortable rooms and decent bathrooms, with parking and breakfast (super-friendly waitresses) all for less than the Premier Inn was charging.

We spent two days there The weather was very hot and you cant open the windows in the property , there is a very small helpless fan that was not enough at all

Hotel is in a time warp from 1990's. Room nice, decor was outdated. Great location to walk into centre of Cambridge along River Cam and parks. Highlight was the two sisters who run the breakfast and house keeping. So friendly, fun and accommodating.

The triple room was spacious and comfortable. The cold water tap did not work at the sink - but getting water from the bathtub was no big problem. A very nice cooked breakfast and very nice staff!

Check-in process was confusing. Ashley hotel has a short check-in window; late arrivals have to check in at its parent hotel. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Breakfast room was so inviting, and the breakfast service staff were a highlight due to their warmth and friendly manner.
