This was a well presented room clean and made my wife happy. She has high standards. So very impressed with the room and will stay there again next time we are in the area.

Upon arrival all of the staff we spoke to were fantastic and really engaging. The food at breakfast and dinner was beautifully cooked and the guestroom was a great size and very clean.

The pub is in an excellent spot about 7 mins walks to the park and ride bus into Bath. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent we had an evening meal and breakfast- both were homemade and delicious. My only slight negative was i found the bed very hard, saying thst was husband didn't- not easy to please everyone!

Great stay in converted cottage in the courtyard. Great location, very friendly staff. Walked to Lansdown Park and ride only 10 min for evening in Bath, so convenient.

Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her). Would stay again 😁

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The **food was excellent** – fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Although several items were unavailable from the menu, what we were able to order arrived promptly and didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately, the **customer service felt a bit stretched**. It took around 20 minutes before anyone approached us to take our order or offer drinks, which suggests the team may be **understaffed**. The **room above the pub** was cosy and nicely decorated, though on the **smaller side**. The **bed was very comfortable**, which was a definite plus. However, **cleanliness could be improved** – our white socks quickly turned grey from walking on the floor, and the **shower needed a deep clean**. We also noticed **dust gathering in odd places**, like between the door frame and bathroom. Noise might be a consideration for some – **the road outside is busy**, and traffic noise was noticeable, which might not suit light sleepers. That said, the **location is excellent** for access into town. Overall, if you're looking for great food and a convenient location, this place ticks those boxes, but there are areas – especially cleanliness and staffing – that could use attention. -

Lovely hotel and pub. Free parking, park n ride into barh on the doorstep. The staff were really friendly. The bar was well stocked. The rooms were in a little courtyard and spotlessly clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast was included and was awesome. All the staff were efficient, friendly and welcoming. Everything we could possibly ask for. Our cockapoo loved it too. Thank you guys next time we visit Bath you’ll be our number one choice

Beautiful rooms and delicious food!

Very nice country Inn, well situated near Bath and not too far from Bristol. Lovely room and shower room, extremely comfortable and large bed, the only downside was that there wasn’t a mirror near the hairdryer and not possible to plug the hairdryer in near the mirror. The breakfast was very tasty and a good choice, the first morning we had to wait longer than expected. We had dinner on one night and can highly recommend the fish and chips, very light crispy batter on very fresh fish and crunchy chips with a lovely soft centre. The staff were charming

Overall the room was ok. Spacious enough, however very warm and only means of air was a very loud portable fan in the eoom. You could open the window wide enough for someone to hop into the room. You need to ensure you've requested a twin, otherwise you'll end up with a double. Gluten free options for breakfast and dinner were gratefully received

Lovely clean, comfortable, spatious room. Nice to have the pub/restaurant on our doorstep as well, serving a great breakfast too.

Very comfortable, stylish room with lovely decor. Bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. Very quiet location with views over the racecourse. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Had an amazing evening meal, good choice of drinks. Enjoyed breakfast in the morning with a choice of cereal, yogurts and juice and a cooked option. We both had poached eggs which were cooked perfectly. Only slight downside was due to the layout of the rooms it felt necessary to keep the blind shut so other guests couldn’t see in. Would highly recommend and will be back.
