LOVED MY ROOM! It was clean and decorated very nicely and the food from Bloom is amazing!! You have to have the Fish and Chips!!! The Area was quiet and safe with a lot of shops - beautiful area and taxi accessible!

It was a great base for a couple of days in London for the theatre. Comfy beds, good pillows, nice shower and a good choice, hot and replenished often at breakfast. There was a bit of a queue to get in to breakfast in the morning but nothing too dramatic.
The only thing I would say is we only got 3 towels in the room even though there were 4 of us which I thought was a bit odd, I’m sure it would not have been too much trouble if we requested another but we managed with 3 ok.. just maybe request more if needed.
The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the nearest tube either Russell Square or King’s Cross so bear in mind if you have little ones that get tired legs.

The location is central but at least 10-15 min walk from nearest stations.
The rooms are clean but temperatures at night were poorly regulated. The in room thermostat did not work and sleep lacked rest. Pillows old and collapse as soon as you lay head on them.
Overall, hardware is worn out but clean. Breakfast was outstanding. Not coming back though.

We had to check out early due to trains under construction. I explained everything to manager , who assured me it wouldn't be a problem but due to Easter holiday couldnt do anything till after. So when expedia called them they denied my refund. I Will never stay at a crowne plaza again. They are Scammers and Liars. They refunded another person there for the same gymnastics meet because they used AMEX and threatened to dispute charges. Dont tell me not to worry then deny the refund. And then work with others. AVOiD!!!!!!

This property needs a good cleaning. The blinds and windowsills in the restaurant certainly are not maintained. They need daily or at least weekly attention.
The rooms are surface clean but that is all. Spots on wallpaper should be addressed immediately. Room 455.

It’s kind of in “no man’s land” between King’s Cross and Farringdon, but a perfectly acceptable hotel nonetheless. Staff very helpful and service in bar and restaurants very prompt. We had requested a cot during the booking process, but this was not in the room at check-in and it took five requests over four hours before one was eventually provided (just in the nick of time!).

The hotel is a bit of a walk from tube stations. Front desk at check in was good but after that little service. For example when asking for water and more coffee, they didn’t send it. No amenities in the room. Won’t be staying again
