Great location. An excellent business hotel.

Nice and quiet. My only comment is that there is no lotion provided compared to other De Vere Hotel

The bath was rusty no heating in bathroom tberoom

Clean, quiet and good service.

Room was basic. impossible to use the body wash dispenser luckily i always take my own as this seems to be the norm. only 2 plugs in the room - one had the telly in and one had the desk lamp in (which i used as lighting not good in the room) so nowhere to plug in laptop. food was excellent - service in the restaurant great. the pool was not available for use - i understand it should be by April 25. did not use the gym. got the second last parking in the front. did not see a lift - i have a dodgy knee - but was only up on the first floor so managed ok. trip to site difficult - road not good and arrived evening time so dark and raining - will be better when lighter and you can see more of the road. reasonable price for the area. will stay again

Lovely. Had a great time even though it was wet and windy.

Swimming pool shut, Restaurant shut and recommended to use the pub up the road. To be honest I don’t think it’s worth £50 a night let alone the £100 plus!!

The hotel was clean and well run. Disappointed no hotel info in room and no room service available which would have been welcome after a long, tiring, driving day. Bar meals were avdd as liable as dining room closed but you weren’t allowed to take meals to your room.

Hotel accommodation is absolutely fine but the rooms are located in a modern purpose-built complex - not in the stately home. In fact, we had no access to the house at all. Just be warned!

Rooms very nice beds lovely and duvet super nice . Poor experience with dinning as two of us had off one menu and two order different meal . Think boys order may have been for gotten two prefer was help your self , we had to ask how long the other two orders where going to be told 7mins but was much longer . Our help your self nice but the orders meal where very late and disappointing .

There's a castle on the property! You can see majestic horses near the golf course accross the street!

Second stay here (either side of a holiday). Arrived just before 10pm and no food available -not the hotel’s fault. Was not given the same or similar room as requested but a very small double on the opposite side - upper floor. We had lots of luggage! Too late and too tired to complain. Party people wandering back to their rooms passed under our window and disturbed us until 2.30am. 😞 Lovely grounds and great breakfast. Lots of choice. A shame about the room.

Lovely hotel and estate. Short stay before a holiday flight. Another pillow or better ones would make it 5 stars all round.

Hotel grounds were beautiful, hotel itself was a little shabby. There was a large conference going on at the time of our stay so it was a little hectic.

As a regular guest I was very disappointed that the planned refurbishment of the reception area was not communicated before arrival. Temp reception area and access to rooms very poor and no assistance offered - a number of hazard to overcome before you could access the room which have benefitted from the refurbishment. Lastly the building work started at 08.00 and included drilling which was unacceptable. Understand that the works need to be completed but they could be managed far better and consider the well being and comfort of the guests.

The property is undergoing refurbishment this means its a bit off a mess overall a nice place but im glad i had it as a reward night, sadly couldnt go for a swim as the pool was shut too, Redeeming factor breakfast, one of the best breakfasts i have had in a very long time, this proving you can have a quality buffet,

Good room, nice grounds. Conference hotel so rattly in the restaurant on a Sunday night. Helpful staff.

This facility is principally a "venue" providing facilities and accommodation for weddings and conferences. In addition it has modern simple bedrooms. We only required basic overnight accommodation and so our Horsley Place first floor Guest Room was fine. The downside was no lift and a steep set of stairs. The room was relatively small but was quiet and comfortable. We did not appreciate the number of cushions scattered on the bed - they serve no useful purpose and took up quite a lot of room space when removed. Pleasant lounge/bar areas are available. Breakfast was a veritable feast including Full English. However, to get from our room to breakfast entailed an outside walk via a gravel footpath which included a number of trip hazards - fortunately it was not raining. Maybe this was a temporary route during the alterations which were in progress. One final point - finding the vehicle access to the hotel is quite tricky. It is not indicated from the village road and it is quite easy to drive past it.
