Had a lovely stay here recently for one night. From the start Jo was friendly and welcoming. As a single female I felt safe and slept soundly. The room and bathroom were clean and looked fab, as did the whole house. Brekkie next morning was perfect and came quickly, just what I needed..! Can recommend and would love to stay again if passing through sometime :)

Wonderful place to stay to enjoy the Forest

Fantastic stay at a superior 4* establishment. High spec furnishing and amenities and a super friendly welcome. Felt well looked after without being intrusive. Highly recommend this excellent accommodation.

Deanfield House is an immaculate small upmarket bed and breakfast. This was our second stay here and this time we had a large room with a balcony which caught the afternoon and early evening sun. The room was as good as any you would find in a 4-star hotel, and better than many. Everything is spotlessly clean, a real credit to the proprietor. Breakfast is freshly cooked for the time you request and based on your order which you leave the previous evening. Highly recommended

Jo is the host at Deanfield and she is just awesome. Nothing is too much trouble. Amazing breakfast and just a very clean homely feel to the place. 100% will go back again

New owners Jo and partner have kept up the quality in this wonderful B&B. Couldn’t fault a thing from friendliness to the amazingly comfortable mattress (room 4) to a very filling breakfast. Wish you well in your new venture. Won’t hesitate to come back.

This is a small but very well maintained upmarket guest house providing bed and breakfast service. The owners told us they had only just taken over the house and we could see they were already making some improvements even though the place has been beautifully kept by the previous owners. Our room was very spacious with a view across the village green/cricket pitch. The en suite was also roomy and spotlessly clean. We were able to take breakfast in the dining room downstairs and this was cooked to order. Breakfast was very good quality.

Deanfield did not disappoint. It was excellent. The breakfast was very good and set us up nicely for the day ahead. We found the hosts, Chris and Nigel very accommodating. The parking was very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deanfield and the chance to visit the Forest of Dean. We arrived during the morning but our room was quickly prepared and we had a cup of tea and biscuits in the lounge while we waited. Our room was fairly small but fine for our two night stay. Chris was able to advise on walks we could do and had maps and guides available too. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day very well. If we were visiting the area again we would definitely stay at Deanfield.
