Everything was wonderful and described online. It is quiet and walkable for shopping, food and the tube. Abdullah checked us in and quickly became our friend he greeted us everyday and always asked how our day was and if we needed anything just to ask. I will definitely stay here again. I should mention that while in London I got sick and needed to see a doctor and pharmacy, Abdulla helped us find an Urgent care and pharmacy. 24 hours later I was back on my feet and feeling better. Thank you Duke of Leinster!

Quiet friendly neighborhood!

Sadly, there was nothing to like. This place needs to shut down and repair with a safety and quality mindset. We were looking for a place to leave our stuff and go about our day and rest at night. It was so uncomfortable that we decided to leave somewhere else after our first night knowing we would loose our money since we had 4 nights reserved. Shower is scolding hot without ability to regulate. Portable A/C unit was not efficient and was leaking on the carpet so we had a smelly, damp carpet floor on a very small room. The fitted 4 beds in there and it was not walkable. Beds are mounted in high wooden uneven legs so your sleep is not good. Towels looked worn and that is a bad feeling. Bed was itchy and it was a lot more expensive that what you would expect. It was us and 2 kids. Not even full grown adults. PLEASE, PLEASE, if you read this review, don’t t stay here. Don’t waste your money and please look for something else. We booked at This place is dirty and poorly managed. Of course no help from staff since there is nothing they can do.

The room, although small, was still perfectly functional. The only small observation was that the shower cubicle was quite claustrophobic. The staff were very helpful and overall we had a lovely stay there and would stay again.

The property was clean and quiet, and safe for families. The triple room we had was in the basement, and quite sizable. Local grocery stores were a short walk away. The room included air conditioning and a mini fridge, which was unplugged, and took quite a while to cool down. The air conditioner unit did a great job during the recent heat wave. The downside for us was that the shower gave no option for cold water, no matter how you moved the temperature dial. It went from cool to scalding in under 60 seconds. We had to complain at the front desk, and were told that the engineer had gone home for the day, the hotel was fully booked, and we could not move rooms. The problem was fixed the next day while we were out, but their solution was to make the temperature dial immovable. So you had no option of a different temperature other than what it was set at. The breakfast options were ok, but the scrambled eggs were swimming in water, the poached eggs were over hard, and the baked beans were never hot. The tea was great, as was the toast. It would be better if the selections changed changed from one day to the next, instead of the same items all week long. The staff were kind and helpful.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We saw a rat in our room in the middle of our stay and the hotel manager did not believe me and accused me of making it up. I saw it run past my foot and into the bathroom! And prior to seeing the rat, when I had stepped in the droppings in our bathroom, the front desk's response was to just clean it up myself with some tissue paper! Terrible customer service! DO NOT STAY HERE! They did switch us to a new room with no rats and the rest of our stay was fine. (We only stayed because our booking was non-refundable and there was nothing else reasonably priced and available during this summer/holiday season). The breakfast was decent and the breakfast staff were lovely.

The room had no air conditioning- it was 31 degrees, made sleeping very difficult. Room was nice and staff were lovely. Just don’t book during a heat wave!

Genuinely a brilliant hotel. Super friendly at check in, was provided with an ironing board ect and the place even had a small elevator. Which a fair amount of hotels in this area don't. Room was great, little balcony out the front too. Air conditioning and overall great. Breakfast was also decent downstairs with a good selections of bits and bobs, including some hot food too. Close to paddington and Hyde Park. Would absolutely stay again!

Rooms are a bit small but this is expected in London.

The property was conveniently located near Paddington Station and therefore convenient to London sites. Rooms were small, but comfortable.

Nice hotel, close to local pubs and food though the area is rather noisy and without air-conditioning the window needed to be open, leading to a lot of noise.

Nice location. We booked four beds in a room but when we arrived it was not available. We changed rooms the next day. Good hot coffee. Had to request toilet paper as it was nit replaced when they cleaned the room. Staff lady in am was friendly but not the others in evening.

Bed was uneven. Window wedged permanently open to facilitate exhaust ducting for stand alone air conditioning unit. Hot water tap in bathroom sink faulty minimal drip when open full. Sink trap non functioning. Unable to fill sink. Bathroom mirror light non funtional. Hand held shower fitted to shower head. Extractor fan in bathroom non functional. Requested refund - refused. Manager not available. Sent comments to Expedia to forward to management - no response. Shower head, light and extractor fan fixed following complaints to receptionist. Remaining faults, in particular window unresolved. Very disappointing. Will not be returning to this establishment. Would not recommend.

Good hotel, clean and very good price. Staff not the friendliest.

As a solo female traveller being on the ground floor isn't ideal and i would have appreciated a proactive discussion on that, it also made keeping the window open a concern which in a hot room was not very comfortable. My bathroom tiles were loose and the shower head was broken and i had to ask for a hairdryer. Small room but to be expected, not very attentive front desk staff which again was more a saftey concern than anything else.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were great and accommodating. Awesome location close to all amenities and tube as well public transport. Only fault I couldn’t turn off the bathroom heating and asked for it to be addressed as London was warm so no need to have hearing on.
