Nice hotel good location Pool area a littke tired

Really noisy inside the rooms. Very little soundproofing. Trying to sleep at 10pm and I could constantly hear people up and down the hall outside the room. It wasn't just a quiet noise in the background. It was really loud and constant until around midnight. Every single time someone walked past the room it woke me up.

Spacious hotel , easy parking , hotel is dated and could do with refurbishment though service was great , restaurant and breakfast comparable with other hotels , gym was great. Overall enjoyed my stay

Blood stains up the bathroom wall and also on the bedroom wall, mucky fingerprints on the walls around the room, damaged curtains and generally grubby and run down, this included stains to hallway and stairs carpets, not what you expect from the Hilton brand. Partner complained and was offered a complementary breakfast however we were not willing to eat here - if the rooms aren't clean, I wouldn't want to risk the same standards of cleanliness in the kitchen!

It was a decent spot.

Hotel is starting to become very dated and desperately needs a refurb.

Really tired and dated looking room with around 10 dark brown orange stains all over the carpet. Really not what you’d expect to pay for £140 room also beds were really loud and noisy as the springs were dated- will not return.

Overall not too bad a place to stay. Rooms clean and tidy, maybe a little outdated and a bit worn around the edges, but fine for an overnight stay. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good value, lots of choice. Outside functional, a little plain but whats expected when situated next to a main road. If in a room like we were near to the road, is a bit noisy but did ease a little as night went on. Be aware, you will need to pay parking, we paid £6 for 24 hours.

Whole hotel was cold from the time we arrived until we left. Food service was only available in the restaurant from 19.45 on Friday and has we had two grandchildren with us aged 3 and 7 meant that we were forced to eat in the bar which was lifeless and again cold. Saturday we booked a meal out from the hotel at a time which suited us. Saturday/ Sunday morning disturbed through until 03.30 am by people with young children talking/ singing and generally not adhering to the advise by the hotel for consideration to other guests. Would not be booking. This hotel again in the near future.

Good location. Disappointed that hotel guests have to pay for parking.

Unfortunately did like the bathroom setup with the sink outside from the bathroom

Nice hotel , both gym and pool/sauna closed and that was one of reasons I selected hotel , only got told on arrival

The cost of the hotel was high compared to other hotels in the area with availability. I wanted a degree of comfort which is what I thought I would get from Hilton. Having to pay extra for car parking was an immediate slap in the face as you are basically at a motorway exit and where else are you supposed to go. There were no public transport links into town… so added costs of taxi for anything. The room was a good size but very dated. Yikes in bathroom broken and paint peeling, broken handles on wardrobe doors. Room 237 by the way. We asked for family room and there was a sofa bed made up but was terrible.. old and not comfy, also pair of rolled up dirty socks from last client under the table quite visible. With a family room no additional towels or cups supplied.. paying over £110 for it i was really disappointed. The bar closed at 11 and we were refused drinks even though on line bar was to open all evening for guests. All in all poor, very poor for Hilton. Finally on the website it tells you how far you are from landmarks… but they are calculated as the crow flies not by road… so 1.8 miles was actually 7 miles. A lot could be fine with this hotel… looks like it has been forgotten.

Lovely stay but 4 lights on in bedroom on arrival,not necessary. Security....felt any one could walk into swimming pool straight from the street without being challenged.

Great for kids to take shopping, go for food and also have a swim at this location

Great stay. The staff were lovely and the pool was great. Spacious room, clean and comfortable.

Comfortable hotel with reasonable spa facilities. Hotel is undergoing some renovations. Parking and Breakfast was good. We only had a slight issue with a blocked shower but was resolved fast. Just my luck! Overall, was a pleasant stay.
