Staff were great, Bar staff fun and gregarious. Breakfast monitored by 4 to five persons and great. Room was Victorian and regal. Would have liked scaffolding to be down and probably is now.

Disappointing accommodations for a brand like Hilton...way overpriced. The "family room" was smallish..expected more room than the price reflected. The number of electrical outlets was very limited...I understand this is an old structure, but it could be improved upon I think.

Really nice hotel that has had recent renovations.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a private function and it was far too hot to eat in the bar.
The air con randomly started making a chugging noise, maintenance said nothing wrong with it. But it did it again in the night so had to turn it off.

The staff were very friendly. Just a few notes. If two people are staying in the room there should be two towels…we had to ask for the second one. The kettle in our room was not working so had to ask for a new one. Also we have never stayed in a hotel where wifi is extra. For what you pay for a hotel room these days wifi should be included.

Lots of tiny moths in bedroom/ bathroom (room 427).
Air conditioning in room noisy and ineffective.
Beds comfotable.
Bar lacked atmosphere and bar staff clearly wanted to clear up & go home rather than serve us.
This is my third visit but would likely choose somewhere else next time based on this recent experience.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby was a bit austere, but it was clean and the staff at the front desk was polite.
The only real issue I had was the non-functioning heat. When I checked in, my room was 15 degrees. I ran the heat for an hour or two and never went up. I called down to the front desk and their solution was to bring up a space heater. It worked, but it took several hours for the room to reach a comfortable temperature. I'm not sure if the heating was broken for the whole floor, or maybe the entire hotel was booked, but I think a better solution might have been to offer me a different room.
