Amazing place, temperature was minus and freezing so couldn’t get the heating high enough, but to be fair the bed was extremely comfy and had a really good sleep before going onto my next location, would definitely stay again and give time to use the facilities better! The Nog inn was a great local pub for food and drink 5 mins in a taxi

I stayed at the hotel for business for 2 nights, the room was ok - dated but with a updated bathroom. Sleep was mixed! First night - ok / Second night - awful! all you could hear was someone working in the hotel moving furniture, this was from around 12:30am to 2:30am. Mentioned to the person on reception on check out - no real response. Not great!

A cross between a wedding venue, a gym/pool and a motel. The motel 'garden' rooms are v tired. But ok for a cheap overnight stay near the A303. Pet friendly.

I thought being a manor house, it was like we were at pontins! Swimming area and chaging rooms need rebuilding. Floor plan leave a wet and slippy corridor. Room sheet wasnt changed, although I had been assure that it wo uldbe as it was soiled. Rusty, old and in a sorry state. The 'beautiful gardens' didnt exist.

The place was lovely but our room was very small and the bed sounded like it was going to fall apart at any minute. The place was clean and the staff helpful, bit disappointed that there is no restaurant on site just a cafe.

Awful property and management. Room was covered in spiders, moths and other insects. Carpets were dirty, bath had what looked like blood and pubic hair in it. Avoid this place.

It really will be lovely when the new owners spend some money on if…. The staff were lovely but to not even have a bottle of white wine on offer was not good. The café seems more geared up for the Spa/Club. We were ‘upgraded to one of the rooms in the manor itself but I’m not sure this was actually an upgrade as it was quite ‘noisy’ not in a group of people way but in a ‘needs carpets & soft furnishings’ way as you could hear people walking around & talking. At one point we were trying to work out whose phone was ringing then realised it wasn’t in our room. The Manor House is clearly geared up for just weddings at this point. It’s a shame but we now realise why the pricing was such. Needs, at the very least, a bar that sells more than cans of drinks and mini bottles of wine. Almost but not quite for us.

I was disappointed with the dining options as the 'Garden Cafe' was also the 'Bar' and what was offered was very limited.

Insecure front and patio doors, no curtains and blinds that don’t close fully. Cobwebs in door and bathroom glass panels. Drippy tap from shower. Prob the worst place I have stayed in the UK using Hotels.com. Prob the second worst place I have stayed after some doss house in ilford.

The boiler had failed in the garden rooms and we wouldn’t have heating or hot water but we were told we would be issued with robes and could use the showers at the spa. On arriving at reception to collect the robes before showering to head out for a restaurant booking we were told there were not robes left. A manager intervened and told the member of staff to go upstairs and get one. The robe was given to my partner as they only had one. We asked if they were clean we were told yes. On putting the robe on after the shower she put her hand in the pockets only to find used dirty paper treatment pants/ knickers. Shocking for a member of staff to confirm they were clean if she wasn’t sure. Not a nice discovery for someone to have to deal with. Our clean robes should have been issued and in our rooms before we arrived. It put us off so much we didn’t even go down for breakfast that was actually included and paid for. Very disappointed

Great value hotel with spacious rooms & bathrooms, lovely gym and spa. Common living areas are a bit sparse and lacking in furniture & warmth but there is a nice cafe in the spa with decent food (daytime only).
