Holiday Inn Express LONDON - HAMMERSMITH by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Stayed at the Standard Room for two nights. - Convenient location close to dining and public transport - Lady at the front desk was kind and accommodated our request for a different room (the window in our originally assigned room did not open) - Room was reasonably sized with a functional temperature control system. The small couch by the bed was convenient - Some minor issues/flaws we noticed: old stains on the carpet, a couple hairs on the shower floor / walls, small broken pieces of floor tiles on the bathroom floor - The bathroom toilet has a rather violent flush, which can splash water onto the seat and floor -- certainly not ideal

Area was interesting with a lot of shops.

The hotel and room was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Cleanliness could be improved at this hotel as they only clean the room once every 2-3 days, but they gave us a tag to put outside our door to do cleaning every day. Even so, the bed sheets we're not replaced every day until we told the front desk to do so. Breakfast could be improved as the options were the same everyday, and the hashbrowns were not crispy at all. Despite this, the front desk staff were helpful to our questions and needs, and the Hammersmith location is convenient for getting in and around London and to Heathrow as there are two Tube stations being serviced in the city (it's also a Zone 2, which makes it a 20-30 minute commute into the heart of London).

Excellent area with lots of restaurants in the are. 5 minute walk to nearest station. Hotel room was good but we booked a family room and the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep on with a very small duvet. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and regularly refilled.

Didn’t like response

Nice comfortable room and excellent breakfast in a nice location. Four different lines of the London Underground are a short walk away and nearby shopping and dining is plentiful.

Staff was slow to respond and bathroom and bed weren’t fixed despite repeated reminders. Short staffed for breakfast buffet.

Average breakfast somewhat crowded and noisy.. Rooms ok although air condition poorer on North wing. Average ok Plaice

The hotel is very clean, very close to tube station, staff are so nice, they offer free good breakfast. One thing that was not good, they dont have fridges or safety lockers in the rooms, which i found so weird. But very good hotel, ill rebook again

The breakfast was good but basic, the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were awesome

Great customer service

Rooms are small and too much noise from the surrounding rooms. The doors slam so very loud. Limited breakfast so we never really go get it. 2 small and slow elevators. 10 minute walk to nearest train station. Overpriced compared to others but it was a last minute booking.

We were very happy with everything. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with an ample selection. Hotel was a short was to everything: bars, restaurants and tube station. We will be back.

Room was well-equipped with an iron and ironing board, which was very convenient during my stay. The parking was located right next to the hotel, making access easy, although it’s important to note that it comes at an additional cost. Overall, a comfortable and practical setup for travelers.

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot, net to the train and shops. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast. The rooms are clean. The hotel is very quiet also is a very good price.

Enjoyable stay, hotel in Hammersmith, on busy shopping street. With all the local shops for basics at your doorstep. 5 minute walk to the tube. 20 into Picadilly Circus. Air conditioning was fantastic, slept well. Breakfast nice. Selection of scrambled egg or sausage etc. Perfect to stay in and explore London.
