When we arrived, we were happy because we were going to a concert. Upon entering, I noticed the receptionist was nervous (she was a slim blonde with hair in a braid). When I approached to check in, the employee tried to be friendly, but I could hear her voice as she were talking, as if she were angry.I thought,ok, maybe she was stressed and tired.I had to write down who would be in the room with me. She spoke quickly, and I wasn't sure if I should write only the names of the people in the room with me or me either, so I asked. In a high angry tone, she said that I'd already written my name on the piece of paper, so why write it again? She was nervous. As I said, I asked just to be sure. I was honestly afraid to ask her anything. I wanted to leave as quickly as possible and go to my room. I felt sad then. I wanted to call the manager and ask for a refund for my booking and go somewhere else. But I'm not the type of person who wants to cause problems. The other staff were really very nice. The room wasn't modernly furnished. Overall, the room looked clean. But my partner slept on the sofa bed and said his bedding was very dusty. The carpet and the edge of the bed were stained.I thought the standard will be better for the price of almost £200 per night.One of the pluses was breakfast downstairs(FREE)so we didn't have to go out to find a place to eat.As I mentioned, the worst part was the reception. She shouldn't have treated guests this way.The rest wasn't that bad.

Good location, right next to then tube station, so you can get around easy. Great value as the cost of the room includes breakfast. Nothing fancy, but great value if you after a base to explore from.

Staff were friendly. Hotel is well placed for public transport. Lots of dining out and takeaway options in the area. Parking on site is good. Room was a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable.

Birthday theatre trip

3 days - no air - no solution - no compensation. Even a free water would have been appreciated. We understand the weather was an anomaly- however, acting symptomatic has some merit as well. Our $$ spent included air. We could have stayed in a thousand other places without air. Great little hotel - clean, convenient to Underground.

I’ve stayed in a lots of chain hotels and I’ve got to say this was easily one of the best. The staff were all super friendly but not fake, right from my first phone call where I asked about parking. Rancey was on the desk to welcome us and was very friendly and gave us a great welcome. The rooms were compact but comfortable with a really powerful hot shower…always a must for me! Parking is limited but we arrived around 2:30 so there were plenty of spaces. The location is a little bit out of the way but I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location being right next to station. Room was adequate, but rather small and beds were not comfortable. Hotel was clean but looks like it needs updating soon. Breakfast was disappointing, nothing was particularly nice, it was quantity over quality.

Staff was very friendly, helpful with transportation, provided us with ice for cold water at the end of our long days of sightseeing. Breakfast was good!

Front desk staff are amazing like Halina and Mika. They are the best! Both are very nice to the guests and hardworking. Execellent workers! The breakfast buffet was really great. We’re planning to book this hotel next year when we go back to London also because the tube station is just at the back of the property.😍😍😍

No Wifi at all during the stay which is no good work working, Most of the TV channels didn’t work, Luke warm shower, bath waste also leaking

1st time staybatntuis hotel..Front desk very friendly and informative..Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a disappointment..Both days it was Luke warm being a self serve buffet.. would stay again as next to tube station, but skip breakfast

Very convenient public transportation

We booked four nights at this hotel starting with March 7, 2025. As soon as we walked into the hotel, we noticed a strong smell of some type of cleaning agent or similar. Within 5-10 minutes of getting into our room, my wife, who has asthma, had a strong allergic reaction to whatever was in the air. She immediately used her emergency inhaler, but it took a while for her condition to stabilize. We knew that there was no way we could stay at this hotel and asked the manager for a refund, which he refused to issue. We feel that this was very unfair of them considering that this whole problem arose because there was something in the air inside the hotel that triggered my wife's violent allergic reaction. So, for anyone planning to stay at this place, keep this in mind and plan accordingly.
