Very good stay. Breakfast excellent. Slow booking in due to new guest chatting away to receptionist while queue forming.o

Stayed three nights. Only ate dinner on the first night which wasn’t very good. Room was fine and clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast at weekend (half term) was chaotic with lots of items running out and taking ages to be replaced. Car parking charge unclear. Supposed to be £5 per 24 hours but turned out to be any part of a day therefore charged £20 for 3 nights ( two whole days and two part days) 63 hours in total not more than 72.

The hotel needs a bit of a freshen up. There was a very bad smell in the main corridors which instantly caught our attention. The cleanliness of the room also wasn’t great. There were stains all over the carpet and the flooring in bathroom. Upon lifting the toilet seat, there was also a lovely gift on the seat (a hair) which was concerning, it looked like the seat hadn’t been cleaned. The room was very spacious and had a lot of floor space, yet the bed was pushed right next to the window. There was very minimal space to get into bed and could feel a draft from the window. It also meant I felt like my head was laying on the table next to the bed at points. Breakfast was also poor. The coffee machine was broken the second morning of our stay. Let’s just say I wouldn’t rush back!

Loved everything about the hotel! My only problem was that there is no electric charge point so i missed breakfast on my last day because i spent most of my time trying to find electric charging point to charge my car! It would make life much easier for your customers who have electric cars if you had a couple of chargeing points on the property

always a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn. Its a bit tired looking but the staff are very good.

Room and bed very comfortable. Shower was brand new and sparkling clean. Food was pretty terrible. I had Hunters Chicken for evening meal - the chicken itself was ok but the vegetables were inedible. Breakfast was also poor - congealed beans, tasteless scrambled eggs, flacid bacon. Not nice, I left most of it.

Poor check in, mattress very lumpy, buffet breakfast warm at best.

The hotel was very clean and the room and corridors smelt nice! • The room was spacious. • Bed was very comfy • Bathroom was nice and the shower was powerful • Blackout curtains really were blackout 😅 probably a bit too dark as it makes you want to sleep for ages! • Breakfast was nice but bigger plates would be better so you didnt need separate plates for toast etc. • Staff were friendly • Very reasonably priced for room and breakfast, but bare in mind you have to pay for parking which is a bit pricey and drinks are quite expensive - we paid over £6 for two bottles of coke. Overall it was a nice stay! Would stay again if we were in the area!

Had my father stay here for one night. He got there late and we were going to pick him back up the next morning. He was told the room was ready when he checked in - it wasn't. So he had to spend a long time in a used room, calling the reception and repeatedly being told they'd get back to him in a minute. Each 15 minutes he'd have to call back and repeat. Eventually he was told that Lydia (the manager) was coming on and would help. The next time he'd call up he'd ask for Lydia. Who seemingly did not care. When he asked how long it'd be to get the room, "no idea" she'd curtly state. It was now into 11pm and he was tired. He was eventually escorted to a new room which was locked - occupied. While it was being sorted he was picked up by the lady he checked in with - Sierra. Apparently had only been there for 4 days. She kindly offered my dad a drink at the bar while they waited and was the only one there that showed some compassion and kindness. So thank you to Sierra, but otherwise I can't recommend this place even for a short only sleep stop like we had planned.

Our stay was pleasant. Room was clean & beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast wasn’t as good as previous stays, as the hotel was full & there was a lot of queuing & they ran out of popular menu items which was disappointing.

Could do with some extra staff.

One night in a clean well presented room with good customer service. An acceptable breakfast included where the servers were excellent.

This hotel had the most comfortable beds of our entire trip. Nice breakfast buffet and great location right off the highway.
