Was a lovely place

Swimming pool was nice temperature also the food was nice and hot.

Good hotel, nice welcoming staff, lovely breakfast. Nice, good size room. Water pressure for bath quite low. Pool and spa lovely. Jacuzzi at boiling point. Would recommend and stay again.

Very cold in the foyer area.

Good price. Fairly worn out hotel. Corridors the carpets are worn out, obvious water stains on ceiling. First room had no hot water, given a refurbished room as replacement. Good bar and good steak from restaurant. Large car park £6 per night

Receptionist was very helpful I liked the more relaxed eating arrangements and food was good and hot and a good selection. Although i did not need it, the bathroom in assistance room would be better with a walk in shower. Great to have a bath. Plenty of room for both

Our stay was only overnight, but everything was fine, room was large and clean, breakfast was superb, worthwhile find.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone with mobility issues or young children. I had a pram for my 6-month-old and had to navigate two staircases to reach my room, as there was no lift. Once at the room, I couldn’t even push the pram through the door due to a poorly placed doorstop limiting the entryway. The room and bathroom were very dated, though the beds were comfortable. On the positive side, the breakfast and pool were good.

Very good, We did enjoy it and the hotel let us late check out. Thank you very much. We are looking forward for the next stay again.

Very nice breakfast options, very comfortable beds, ample parking, nicely placed near main roads for our travel needs, friendly and helpful staff.

The experience of being there was really amazing, but please work on the carpets and bathrooms, they looked old and the smell was not so good

Well maintained & clean property, some areas (rooms & hall walls) were tired & in need of a refresh but did not deter from a lovely stay. Great food at the hotel (even on restricted menu there was lots of choice), nice swimming pool & facilities. Room was very comfortable & quiet, staff were friendly & accommodating. Excellent location too.

Heating in room had failed and was reported to desk. Returned to room later to find a small plug in heater had been supplied. This heater was too small for the room leading to an uncomfortable night. Hotel also charges for parking which I have never known before at Holiday Inn locations I have stayed at. Back to the cheaper Premier Inn just down the road
