Holiday Inn MANCHESTER - WEST, an IHG Hotel

It was ok, but could be better maybe I was u lucky with the room. Another last minute booking so pot luck on availability. Room, small with no ware to open a suite case with ease. Pillows cheap and uncomfortable, duvet poor quality and light weight. A/C unit broken circulation doors, noisy, room cold without heater element. No bathroom heater, cable cut off. Toilet too tight to the wall not good even for an average person. Basics which should be sorted !

Clean facility, spacious room perfect for family. We enjoyed our stay here. A bit far from train station but still walkable. The staff was amazing and helped us out with getting taxi and meals for our family. Such a great stay!

The hotel is nice but it’s aged. Can be better if compare with the one in city center

The air conditioning wasn't accurate. It said 20 degrees on the panel but when we returned to the room later the heating was overpowering. We had to open the window and turn it off. The bathroom was tired. The breakfast team were unable to cope with demand. There was never a full choice of hot breakfast items available at the same time. The glasses and juices were not replenished quickly enough either. There was an odour in the passages. The carpets in the passages were marked and wrinkled. There were groups of young men in the corridors late at night who were very noisy and could be heard knocking at another door very loudly. Overall not a relaxing pleasant stay. We will avoid this hotel in future.

Didnt look anything like the pictures. Alot of noise from guests above. Was looking forward to all you can eat breakfast that was a complete disappointment food cold and taking to long to bring fresh out. Toaster was a 4 toast toaster which is useless for everybody waiting. Scrambled egg wasnt even cooked properly watery jelly. Overall very disappointed

Very friendly on arrival, nice and quick to check in. Had a drink in the bar then a meal in the restaurant, overall no complaints at all, would definitely recommend 👍👍

Lovely place to stay. Clean quiet bright and modern. Friendly staff.

I had an issue with my given room and informed the front desk. Shortly after it I was shown a different room, no questions asked and it resolved the problem. Good service with a smile and I had a good nights rest. Breakfast, good choice and spot on chef making the poached eggs.

Very friendly staff who will go above and beyond to make sure you stay as comfortable as can be. Very clean and modern looking bar and restaurant area some of the rooms could do a little bit more updating as marks on floor and walls.

Stay was okay but I felt expensive for the level of service. Staff friendly but did not go the extra mile

Catered for our needs adequately. Room was clean, hotel was tidy and breakfast was pleasant.

I paid for a room with a king bed. They gave me a queen bed. At the reception desk they apologized because they did not have rooms with king beds. I filed my complaint with Expidia, they called the hotel and the manager assured them that they gave me a king bed. They are liars. Not professional.

Bit old construction but keep it well. AC in my room makes rattle noise. Complaint at reception but they replied that its running fine.

Very enjoyable stay. Very helpful staff

Not quite as near the centre as expected but easy to find and free parking. We were also able to leave the car there on check-out day whilst we went back into the city for a bit of shopping. Staff all lovely. Very friendly and helpful Breakfast was great. Ordered a pizza to the room as we were running late and the service was excellent. Only negative was there was only 1 socket in the bedroom working and the cleaners were very noisy at 8am on Saturday morning right outside our room!

Very comfortable stay, clean room with everything we needed, all staff friendly and helpful, great choice of breakfast food + drinks, well stocked bar. Will definitely stay again

Good cheap hotel close to Manchester City centre

Booked this hotel as knew we would be late to arrive and wanted a restaurant on site. Arrived at 8pm and they had stopped serving food! Man on reception was very unhelpful and rude. Prob the worse hotel i have ever stayed in, room was small but clean but very noisy and lights on all night from the corridor which made the room very light until we put towels around the ill fitted door. Would not recommend.

The staff were exceptional and were very accommodating.
