Hy Lytham St Annes

Extremely disappointed & disgusted we have stayed previously only this time we brought our parents children & Australian family to stay booked two rooms. The room was meant to be deep cleaned but on arrival the bed had Feaces marks all over the sheet food & dog hair & pubic and head hair it was honestly disgusting to arrive to this level of filthy hygiene there is massive issue throught all rooms with extreme Sewage smell in one room we had to move for one night untill the bed issue was sorted was the most ransid smell the manager Daniel came upto smell and agreed it was awful and he would refund one night stay as our children or us couldn't sleep it was vulgar. Daniel agreed when we checked out he would do the refund. Myself husband and children decided to leave the hotel our children sick we couldn't stay with the smell dirt & no heating. When my father checked out Daniel was very rude refused any type of refund so went against totally what was agreed. I called to discuss this to be given rude arrogent attitude and told I should lie to Hotels.com and should not have given an honest review. He said on the call no refund will be given due to me telling Hotels.com. The lack of professionalism is disgraceful we have asked for the owner to contact us because the hotel has definitely went downhill its sad to see as this was somewhere we recommend but not after this awful experience. He told me to post my pictures complain he didnt care that he had made an agreement no refund digr

Staff was great. Great location. Parking and pool is definitely a bonus. Would definitely stay again and recommend to all. Sofa bed could do with an upgrade but everything else was all good. Thank you Hy staff.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our little boy loved using the swimming pool. The location was perfect with less than 5 mins to the beach and into town. A few minor points, the shower was not very powerful and sadly our room was not as clean as would be have expected. Whilst the intake and go breakfast was welcomed, the pastries were a little dry.

Great place to stay, the only thing that was annoying was the smell of old stale water coming out from the shower

Lovely hotel, in a very nice area. This was adjacent to a lovely park. Some lovely shops and restsurants close by. A lovely pier area. Although a good 20 minutes by bus to Blackpool promenade. A really lovely place to stay.

Fantastic

Staff were fantastic, however room was disappointing due to not being how expected as seen on photos. The apartment felt worn in places.

Got upgarded to a 2 bedroom apartment without charge. Spacious, bright rooms with good black out curtains. Good, central location.

Stair carpets we're never cleaned. Dishes and plates didn't match.

Had a great little break with the family. Was nice to have a little kitchen and lounge area as well as the swimming and sauna facilities. Location was great for nipping to the beach or heading to the Pleasure Beach.

Comfortable but was expecting more after reading previous reviews. Very good location with easy access to beach, parks and town centre

Everything I needed for a stay. Clean and comfortable. Great location to walk to all main points.

Excellent communications. Staff offered us an upgrade on arrival, from 1 bed to 3 bed apartment. Gratefully accepted 😁

A really well thought out hotel. Everything you need nothing you don’t. We met up with family and were able to celebrate together in one room whilst the kids slept in the other. Location is perfect. Swimming pool is fabulous but you need to book your slot which keeps the pool quiet.

Great hospitality

Although small, the apartment has everything you could need (room 303). Would prefer a larger bed and would usually book a room with a super king, but as this was a last minute booking, we had no option as this was the only room available. The pool area was nice, with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. The only negative was that the room was too warm and due to being on the ground floor felt unable to leave windows open due to security.

You won’t find a much better place to stay in this area. Everything was perfect, can’t complain. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Second time here and would book again. Excellent location with park opposite you and the beach behind. Lovely decor, clean and the facilities are great!
