This hotel was excellent. The staff were delightful, everyone very friendly and very helpful. The hotel had all of the amenities you would need bar a fridge in the room as other reviews have mentioned. This wasn’t an issue for us though, they give you milk in a thermos at the bar.
The room itself did look a little tired in places but it’s a 3-star hotel so that was okay with us. That being said, it was very clean and comfortable which is what matters most.
I would advise check booking through the hotel website directly, they do deals and I suspect I may have gotten the room cheaper directly than through Hotels.com, rookie mistake by me but it is what it is.
Overall a great hotel made even better by its staff.

Wonderful beachfront hotel. This is our third time back, such a friendly hotel and breakfast is a real treat. We will be going back again and again.

Friendly staff throughout. We loved the building and the orangery. Deluxe sea view room was lovely with comfy bed. The food in the evening was great and there was an extensive cocktail menu too.
Will definitely return.

The Marine Hotel was located in a great position for views and walks to Whitstable town and harbour.
The room was well presented and comfortable to stay in. There were some signs of damp and wear and tear, it's probably due a refresh soon.
The staff were very helpful and polite when checking in/out and booking meals.
Food in the restaurant was lovely and not over priced. Breakfast was cooked freshly and was again very tasty.
Overall it was a nice stay but I didn't feel I got value for money, this was not a cheap hotel for a mid week autumn stay.

Hotel staff were fantastic and professional especially the reception . However despite contacting the site staff the bathroom shower taps did not work . We all were not able to have a shower or bath due to the taps not working properly. The site staff couldn’t work it out and it was hit and Miss whether you had hot water . Having a cold shower was disappointing and very uncomfortable! I did tell the reception as this room really should be let out until resolved. The reception and breakfast was excellent so we didn’t make a fuss but it certainly left a negative vibe to our stay .

I loved staying here. The location is amazing, right on the seafront. The welcome upon arrival was amazing. The staff were so friendly. The room was lovely, it just gave a welcoming, homely vibe. Loved it!!!

Lovely stay at the Marine Hotel. Beautiful room with a sea view and balcony. Really good food and great service at the restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and there was even a sausage for the dog. Lovely stay and we'll be back!

Lovely 1 night stay in a very lovely large superior sea view room. (Room 9) Lovely huge sleigh bed, cute little balcony and large bathroom. Myself and my partner had a complimentary glass of wine for my birthday. Thanks! I’m coeliac/ gluten intolerant but breakfast was no issue at all, super helpful.

All the staff were very helpful and accommodating food was good and prompt could not fault these 2 things.
Made our anniversary stay special.
The only problem we had as a mature couple was the bath/shower was unsuitable for elderly or disabled needs.
ALL THE STAFF SHOULD BE PRAISED FOR THE HARD WORK THAT THEY DO TO MAKE PEOPLE WELCOME.
