Very happy with the studio apartment. Limited kitchen but fine for what I needed. 10 mins walk from South Kensington tube station. Plenty of supermarket express stores. I would return if I come back to this area.

As an alternative to a hotel room, this property is highly convenient and in a good, quiet location in South Kensington. However it is a bit ... unusual. First, photo ID is required at check-in -- the receptionist explained that this is in the confirmation email, but we checked together, and it is not. It is, however, in the terms and conditions on Expedia -- though low down, not in the 'special check-in instructions' section, and not especially obvious. Fortunately, they accepted a photo of my driving licence on my phone. My details also hadn't been passed through from Expedia, so I had to provide my address again. Second, at check-in guests are asked to sign 2 pages of fine-printed terms and conditions, which is pretty atypical for somewhere that is pitched as an alternative to a hotel. These conditions are quite bizarre -- including a promise that the apartment is being used for residential purposes and not a short-term let: that seemed pretty weird given that it they were providing it to me for a single night. The property itself was in mostly good condition. That said, it did seem odd for two days of shower gel and shampoo to be provided ... but no handwash. There were also no coat hangers in the wardrobe. Some of the outlet holes in the shower head were blocked with limescale. Overall, I will consider staying here again if it is considerably cheaper than hotels in the area, but I wouldn't otherwise rush to do so until some of these issues have been addressed.

Basic accommodation, tv not great. Bed soft and comfortable enough to sleep on. Didn’t look anything like the pictures

A cold unwelcoming room. The room temp was 14 C when I entered and it took several hours to get warm-ish. The bed was very lumpy, pillows were thin and soggy. The blinds don’t keep all the street light out and the very thin double glazed windows do not keep the street noise out; it was noisy all night. I was on 2nd floor. It’s London and if you want something decent, you have to pay for it; this was inexpensive and you get what u pay for! I be back!

Worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. Dirty towels, stained sheets —- overall very grimey. Did not enjoy at all!!

Excellent location.

In general property was in good condition and its location was important for me. The bed was in poor condition, way too soft and I think its springs were in bad shape. It should be replaced

Really nice studio apartment with room to sit on the sofa, make breakfast and even a sandwich for lunch. 5 minute walk to the tube, bus stop right outside.

This is a great location. I was really impressed with the size of the room: it felt spacious and comfortable. Would recommend.

Nice stay in a nice sized apartment and a great area

Great location for the museums which are within walking distance as are a good selection of places to eat out but no air conditioning, which when it's 32 degrees outside makes it a little uncomfortable.

Great Place to stay for the Price Studio, stayed many times Central No Aircondition but a table fan was quite enough
