Ideally located for our plans, walking distance to key locations in Londons theatre district in Covent Garden. Only slight issue was family room was not 2 double beds as advertised as anyone will know who has slept on a sofa bed, it’s not the same. Worked for one night. Would stay there again.

The Strand Palace could not be in a better location. You’re truly 10-15 min walk from most major attractions and if not just a 5 min walk to two tube stations to go anywhere else. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and the breakfast had anything you could’ve wanted. Rooms have thin walls so unfortunately you hear your neighbours but that’s just part of the charm of the old building. Would recommend

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Yes the lifts are snug, indeed the rooms too, but in your the heart of London, so understandable and good value at the price point for the sq.footage - go across the road to the Savoy and do the math on the cost per sq.foot if you disagree!! lol

Excellent overall but one of three elevators was out of service for our entire stay. Many of us just carried our luggage down several flights of stairs on checkout day because the wait for an open elevator was too long. Everything else was five stars.
