There were no cocktails to be had At All ! The pillows need changing as they are like bricks and the Showers need a shower mat as it becomes very, very slippery. This is a shame, because everything else was Great.

Delighted with the hotel and the restaurant. This time my wife and I did not have our usual companion, our Border Terrier with us as we had been attending a wedding. We would love to use the hotel again, but. as there is a no pets policy, then this unlikely to happen. The refurbished bathroom with walk in shower was excellent with one little fault - the rain shower head really needs to extend further into the shower cubicle!

The service was amazing, the food at the pub was great (especially the lemon meringue cheesecake!), the only thing that really let this place down was the rock hard bed. I have osteoarthritis in my hip and he’s beds equals chronic pain and zero sleep for me. Such a shame as everything about the stay was perfect!

A lovely pub & hotel with good food and very attentive staff. The room was recently refurbished and was very comfortable. The only negative was that the room was cold. I raised this with reception who said they would press the boost? The heating came on for a bit and then went off again. Again I spoke to reception (I’m not particularly fussy but my hands were actually cold) and they repeated that someone will press the boost. Not ideal on a cold night. Breakfast was lovely though.
