Nice staff and clean. Lack some maintenance such as not all light bulbs in the room are working, old toilets, minor broken things. If you don't mind those things it is fine. Very good value for money.

Clean but a little bit worn off. Friendly stuff. Near the town centre. Breakfast is included in the price, but is very poor (cold toast, piece of butter, marmelade and honey, one egg).

The location is good, about 15 minutes walk from the main plaza. Breakfast is meager (bread, an egg, and croissant) and the room itself while being clean seemed to be in a state of disrepair. The light switches were broken and the bathroom was missing the shower doors so the water sprayed directly on the floor. On the positive side, the beds were fine and the staff were easy to work with. Just needs some renovations done to bring it back.

Good hotel by Macedonian standards. Had to ask for towels to be changed. We were not informed by either the hotel or hotels.com that this hotel only accepts cash so we got a nasty surprise at 3am when we were checking out. As a result I had to find a cash machine while our taxi was waiting to take us to the airport.

The room was decorated with a pleasing aesthetic, it was not the usual neutral offering. The staff was helpful and informative, and carried our luggage upstairs. Our room had a nice urban view, with minimal street noise, that was not disturbing. The bed was comfortable. The staff had a reasonably priced taxi waiting for us for our very early flight, and helped us with our luggage again. The shower stall did not have a curtain, I suppose for reasons of cleanliness and hygiene. We managed our shower fairly well, despite our fears to the contrary.

Hotel is in a very good location, though it takes some orienteering to find it on foot. Close to the center and a generally quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is ample and tasty, mostly continental. The downside was that the hallways can be noisy, especially if people return later in the evening. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rate is good value.

Only stopped one night enroute to Lake Ohrid, basic but met our needs. The free evening meal was at a little place just round the corner, very cosy, simple but tasty. Drinks weren't included but at 70p for a pint of Skopsko you can't complain :)

The location is quite convenient, in the center of Skopje, and close to everything. Unfortunately, the hotel staff was extremely unfriendly, to the point of being downright rude. Upon check-in they take your passport and/or лична карта as a form of "security" that you'll later pay, and refuse to give the documents back until everything is paid. The some of the furniture and fixtures in the room are broken. The free breakfast isn't really breakfast, but some poor store-bought bread and a hard-boiled egg. The free dinner that's included doesn't include any kind of beverages, so you end up paying a fair amount for "free" food. Overall the experience was extremely, extremely poor.

First when checking in, they said that some flight was cancelled and they are fully booked with their chinese customers. I think that changes in flight schedules are not my problem in the first place. Anyway, they also have another place called Villa Ani. So they wanted us to move there, 1 km away from hotel Ani, still in the city centre. That's wahat they told, but which wasn't fact. And on top of this, of course, we had to pay our taxi for the movement! When arriving to Villa Ani, it was far away from the city centre. They also had brochure saying that all rooms have air-conditioning. Well they didn't. So the location far away from any services (restaurants, shops, bars etc.) without AC made it impossible for us to stay. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

So, if you go to Macedonia expecting to find hotels with US standards, you will rate this hotel 2 stars. If you go expecting to find a hotel with Eastern European standards, I'll give it a 4 stars. The hot shower worked, but the shower doors were broken. They don't give you body wash neither shampoo, so bring your own. They do provide hand soap and towels. The bed is small for US standard (full size) but comfy. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a hotel on the 3rd floor. The hotel is tiled all over and late night, the ladies go up with their hills and you can hear from your room. Didn't bother me, but if you are a sensitive sleeper, get a 3rd floor room. Overall, we liked it, the location was great. Bring CASH, Denar or Euro, hotel does not accept cards. There are ATM's near by.

They tried hard, but the hotel did have it shortfalls. The request to pay in Euro was a little annoying - even though the hotel was reserved in USD and the local currency is Denar. The good thing is that it is a quick walk to the city center, but the room conditions did leave a lot to be desired.

The hotel is conveniently located (very close to the center), the staff is friendly and the rooms have been recently renewed and clean. Three remarks: you credit cards are not accepted, internet is not included in the price and the breakfast needs to be integrated with additional food (You can buy "Burek" in one of the bakeries in the surroundings of the hotel). In general the price is appropriate to the service offered and the location is great, just five minutes walk from the stone bridge.
