Very nice, comfortable and clean. Additionally we loved the amenities provided like the shampoo and body lotion in the bathroom it was great to not need to buy some.

The hotel was not what I expected, it was MUCH better!…from the pictures it might seem old but it’s not. I loved the modern art, the little concept and especially, the view… breathtaking. Only thing I would improve would be the dining experience. They only had buffet for about 6500 isk. If you want something light, there’s a restaurant at the gas station, the lady there is lovely and cooks hot sandwiches. They closed at 9pm but sometimes later.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff was super helpful and kind. The rooms modern and clean. Basically 5 star. No complaints.

I recommend this hotel. The room was simple but comfortable. Breakfast was great. Because of an unexpected long drive we checked in after 10 pm. They were very accommodating by providing a phone number to call when we arrived and access to our room key.

This is a small hotel in a converted bank. The vault is now their wine cellar. It’s a small operation and Reception closes at 10 pm, but they were able to leave us a key for a late arrival. Given it’s original design, the layout is idiosyncratic. We had to go down stairs to the basement and then back up to get to our room. There’s no elevator. The room was simple—modern, clean, and generously sized. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. The room had instant coffee, tea and a mini-fridge. We did not stay for the extra-charge breakfast.

the heater and shower had no heating and when we told the staff after checking out they said they will go and check. When we left they said the shower and heater were working fine accusing us of lying. This is very wrong. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Very quiet,welcoming staff in the evening,staff not so friendly on our departure,falsely accused of having breakfast even though we had purchased our utems from supermarket across road.one of the rooms a window wouldnt close so had a cold night...
