HVC Hostel Turku

The hostel wasn't clean at all but the beds luckily were quite comfortable. Okayish for a short stay.

Good experience in these troubling times. Not all customers were crammed into the same rooms. 1 Free parking spot. Clean and quality property without staff onsite.

All it’s good!

Shared bathroom (also with MEN!) open shower. No privacy at all, not properly described on Orbitz booking, very noisy at 6am for people in the kitchen, no parking (I had to leave the car in the road with payment).

It is in great location. Very clean, comfortable beds, big clean kitchen with coffee, tea, some food to everyone like cereal. It's very good that there are towels in rooms. Minus is bathroom for ladies because shovers don't have doors!

It's ok, nothing special, and not memorable (not for the right reasons at least)

I was unable to get my room, since there is no reception and I wasn't informed on getting in touch with the hostel prior to my arrival. Huge disappointment.

Clean place in a good location. Apart from that not really worth the money. Entrance to the hostel looks like a delivery entrance. The only way to know is to see the hvc on the sign and something in finish. There is barely any information regarding check-in and check-out; I've no idea if I checked out correctly. The only info I could find was a note at the bottom of one sign saying that I should leave both keys in the room. Bathroom is surprisingly clean, but only one shower working in the men's room for 15 rooms or so. Virtually no sound insulation between the hallway, so prepare to wake up in the middle of the night.

Convenient, central location, close to downtown and universities. Simple and functional facilities, with a large kitchen and dining room and two shared bathrooms with (old-fashioned) washing machines. The rooms were large, with cupboards and drawers to organize one's things. Good idea to put keys on a hook by the door to be convenient to grab if heading down the hall. Wifi in the room worked without problems. I never saw a staff person but the place was clean. Entrance via key code was convenient when I arrived late at night, but when I didn't see the key safe right away I tried to call and did not reach anyone. (I then found the key and all was fine.) The walls are thin enough that even quiet sounds carry, and the electronic keys are somewhat loud. There is a flight of stairs from the entrance to the hostel.

When use to hvc manners, method solution and service is ok. Price though should be 45e per night. Not more...

Meget dårlig hostel. Skriver de har parkering. De har 2 pladser og har andre fra byen taget dem så er det bare ærgeligt så må du betale. Det er meget dårligt de så skriver de har selvstændig parkering. Selvom vi vidste at det var dele wc så var det meget ulækker. Det gør vi aldrig igen

Hostellin tiedotetta voisi parantaa saapumisohjeiden osalta; Samassa osoitteessa 2 samannäköistä rakennusta ja menimme aluksi lähinnä Hämeenkatua olevan yksityisasuntoja sisältävän rakennuksen yksityisovien koodilaitteille jotka eivät olleet käytössä, Onneksi saimme neuvoa toiselta hostllivieraalta että najoituspaikka onkin toisessa rakennuksessa jossa oli onneksi selkeä opaskyltti. Huoneen avain saatiin saaduilla koodeilla ja siitä eteenpäin ongelmia ei ollut. Avaimen palautus oli meille myös epäselvä (Keybox). Pesuhuoneessa oli pesukone jota voisi mainostaa myös. Auton pysäköintipaikalle voisi olla merkityt paikat, Hinta/laatusuhde todella edullinen ja sijainti kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta, Suosittelemme mutta englanniksi ohjeistus joka meille ei ollut ongelma, Jääkaappi oli positiivinen yllätys ja lakanat ja pyyhe kuuluivat edulliseen hintaan, Yopyminen sujui mutta hellepäivänä heinäkuussa 2021 ilmastointia ei ole. Emme käyneet yhteiskeittiössä.

Seinät kuin paperia, porausta kuului vielä klo 22 ja musiikkia klo 1 asti ja aamulla klo 5:30 alkaen. Paikassa ei saanut nukuttua kunnolla

Hintaan nähden siisti paikka yöpyä, naapurit olivat kuitenkin sen verran äänekästä porukkaa (äänieristystä ei ole minkäänlaista) että yöksi tuli lähdettyä muualle. Väsyneelle matkalaiselle, jota pienet häiriöt eivät häiritse, voisi toimiakin hyvin.

Huone oli hieman pettymys, ikkunasta kävi kova veto ja jopa kadun äänet kuuluivat kuin ikkuna olisi ollut auki. Sängyt sensijaan olivat ainoa plussa, ne olivat hyvät.

Oikein siisti ja se on tärkeintä. Ehdotan että pesuhuoneeseen laitetaan parempi lukko ja suihkukoppeihin ovet.

Kaikki meni hienosti. Kiva ja selkeä paikka. Siisteys oli hyvä. Keittiö tosi siisti ja iso. Tulisimme toistelin jos vierailemme Turussa.

Great location. Easy check-in. Good place for our short stay as we only needed a place to sleep.
