We have stayed at the holiday inn for over 32 years even when our grandchildren were little we love it its convenient to base yourself there do a bit of travelling clean place to stay easy parking we love it

Clean, comfortable and great service. Can't fault this hotel. Great value for money for an overnight stop over after travelling via Le Shuttle before a long drive to the Alps.

Good sized family room with 2 double beds. Very clean and smart. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks available at the bar. We didn't have breakfast, but it is on offer, with kids eating free per paying adult.
A short walk away was a selection of restaurants for dinner. There appeared to be a range to suit all budgets/tastes, but we went cheap and cheerful at Pizza Royal (which I'd recommend).
The car ferry terminal was only a 5-10 minute drive away, so the hotel was great for our overnight stay.
To note, secure parking is available at £12/night. However, plentiful, free on-road parking right outside the hotel. Area felt safe (as it can be) to leave our car outside.
We would definitely use this hotel again.

No parking on street when we arrived
Hotel parking is in a garage where cars block you in - potential nightmare if catching a ferry- also it’s 12 euros

Chose this Holiday Inn as it was near le Shuttle. It said on the website you had to check in before 10pm but this was not correct. I could not get through either on the phone or by message to verify this. The room had been cleaned but desperately in need of refurbishment. It was also on 2 floors which was really strange. Would not choose this option again.

The room was large, clean and well appointed. However, there was a cupboard next to the room that seemed to house some sort of machinery, meaning that we were woken up each time the machinery was in use. The sound shook the room and went off about 8 times through the night.
