Hotel was absolutely amazing. The only caveat was there was no room service after 10pm - not even for a beverage if you wanted one. No vending machines, no staff had access to any beverages. Had to walk outside in the freezing cold to the hotel next. door to ask their lobby if they had an orange juice.

we stayed for 5 nights at the hotel in which was in a good location to local amenities and the beach. The hotel itself had decent facilities, the gym was very impressive and the outdoor pool was nice. However to use the spa was an additional daily cost of around 18 euros per person which considering when you are already paying 176 euros a night was expensive. The hotel room itself was small considering the price, it had a very boxed feel too it and was located on the bottom floor right next to the restaurants / eating area so as you can image some nights it got quite noisy. The Bathroom itself felt dated. Overall for the price and the additional costs to use the facilities and the hotel room we felt the hotel was a disappointment. The staff themselves were very pleasant but at no point just this justify 176 euros a night. There are better hotels around at a fraction of the cost.

We stayed at the Hotel Alanthal en route from Calais to Southern Spain. The hotel is set just off the beautiful beach, and so is ideal for long walks. For a small surcharge (I think €16 per person) you can use the hotel's spa which offers indoor and outdoor pools. Whilst we didn't use this, we saw others who did and it looked fantastic. The hotel restaurant offered a three course set menu in the evening for €33 euros. Good value as for that you could get steak frites as a main. The room was small but clean and we had a partial sea view. The shower was fantastic- large and almost like a wet room. Wifi was strong and held throughout the building.

Personnel à l’accueil sympathique mais en 2025, demander de remplir une fiche manuscrite avec nom prénom adresse postale mail téléphone (il ne manquait plus que le numéro de sécurité sociale) c’est un peu déroutant , demander ensuite le voucher de réservation (que j’ai prépayé) et de demander à l’envoyer par mail tout d’abord sur l’adresse de l’hôtel qui ne fonctionnait pas puis sur l’adresse mail personnelle du réceptionniste, ce fut un démarrage complexe, et en 2025, c’est un peu obsolète !!! Chambre au rdc bruyante (tous les passages dans le couloir), qui provient plus de la qualité d’insonorisation notamment de la porte. Chambre sale par endroit (saletés et cheveux). Le « dévidoir » de papier toilettes « feuille à feuille » c’est déjà du niveau d’un « Cheap Hôtel » et de plus, le support en lui même noir a une matière plastique obsolète qui se désagrège, tout ceci est un peu light pour la modique de somme de 130€ (prix remisé!!)

J'ai eu la chambre 15 et elle n'était pas clean coté sdb et WC. Dans ce type d'hotel on s'attend à une hygiène irréprochable. Sinon très bon hotel et je pense que je reviendrai.
