The room was perfect for our family of 4. The room was spotless and modern and the beds were comfortable. A lovely quiet location and a lovely outdoor and bar area to sit. Staff were very friendly.

It was such a lovely stay, extremely well located, close to shops, restaurants and transports but still very very quiet, in a quiet street and around two beautiful inner gardens, which allowed for relaxing times at the hotel, especially during the heat wave. We loved drinking our coffee or taking "apéro" next to the water fountain, surrounded by flowers and bushes. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming, they went far and beyond to make our stay a lovely one. Our room was very cute, comfortable and clean. We had the one with a little extra room, and a tea and coffee maker, which was a very nice addition. We will be going back on our way back home after touring more of France.

When you are guests of 4, the number of towels should reflect. The guests shouldn't be requesting for them every single day. Otherwise, a very decent hotel and the location is convenient.

Very nice ambiance. Directions in English for air conditioning and coffee machine and shower would be helpful. Kleenex not refilled after housekeeping and had to use toilet paper so almost ran out of toilet paper.

Your rating system only shows 4 or 5 stars and I'd give it a 4.5! We had a little issue with dampness in our room (I think the previous visitor caused some carpet flooding), which was instantly remedied as they changed our room. As for the hotel, the inner front courtyard and back courtyard/garden were a delightful retreat. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices and delicious breads and baked goods. However, the shining stars of this hotel are the wonderful staff who were so welcoming, personable, helpful, accommodating and professional. This was such a positive experience, and if we stay in this area of Paris again we'd most definitely return to the Villa Modigliani. Once again, thank-you so much to the staff.

The hotel was generally clean and well-maintained. Its location is very convenient, just a short walk from the metro and bus station, with most major landmarks reachable in 15–30 minutes by train or bus. There are also plenty of good restaurants within a 1–2 minute walking distance, which was a big plus. A few aspects could be improved. The cleaning staff did not speak any English, which made communication difficult. Like many hotels in France, the air conditioning was quite poor — the unit was loud and produced a constant buzzing noise when running. We also had to specifically request a second room key, which isn’t standard. As a family of four, we found it odd to be questioned about needing an extra key card. Finally, the bathroom layout was impractical: the toilet is in a completely separate room from the sink and shower. This makes it inconvenient to wash your hands after using the toilet. Overall, the hotel is decent for its location and cleanliness, but expect some typical European quirks with amenities and service.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I book a lot of hotels for work. 300 + to date on hotels.com. I dont say this lightly. This is the worst hotel and experience i have had. The customer service is worse than a $10 motel. The doors of the rooms slam so hard your teeth will rattle. That means when every door on the floor shuts. You'll know about it. We booked a queen bed. They gave us, a married couple two single beds. We asked to change. They said too bad. Pretty much exactly like that, too bad. They said they would change the beds the next day. Next day, no change of beds. Went to reception. Nope, nothing they can do. I asked for another pillow. The response, we dont have another pillow. The place is like Fawlty towers except your paying a huge bill for it. They claim it'a a 4 star hotel. If i am being generous it is a 3 star. But likely a 2 star. I have stayed in Outback Australia with an outdoor toilets full of bugs that is better. Serioulsy, dont stay here.

Very quiet and clean hotel , a lot of restaurants around , but a little bit too far from main attractions . Bathroom set up is horrible , to reach the shower is so inconvenient. Towels were not changed daily , some days there were not towels at all in the bathroom .

They don’t allow check in until after 3pm and apparently their maintenance and housekeeping staff all leave before 4pm, so there is a very small window to correct any issues. I arrived during a news-making heatwave and the a/c was broken. I turned it on and tried to give the room time to cool, but it never did. The receptionist told me maintenance had gone for the day and there was nothing they could do. Later that evening I realized there were no covers on the twin bunks for my children, just a simple sheet covering the mattress. Again I went to tell the reception desk (a new person by this time) and was advised that housekeeping was gone and “why did I care about covering up if the room was hot anyway.” The poor service, lack of regard for my children, and complete lack of hospitality was shocking to me. I was moved into a much smaller room the next day and not offered anything from the hotel for the issues and poor service. What a terrible way to spend time in a beautiful city.
