Le Château du Bost

Kind and friendly people!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was super really lovely and breakfast they asked what you want and made it fantastic. The room was very small and a shame not possible to open window fully as TV was in front. But very clean and new.

When we reserved our room at the Chateau du Bost, we never thought we would be unhappy during our stay, given all the great reviews we had read. However, unhappy we were!! When we arrived at the hotel, early afternoon, we were shown to a tiny, tiny room in the attic. The useful space in this room was just slightly larger than the bed. The slanted roof made it necessary to climb over the bed in order to reach the bathroom, and it was impossible to sit up straight in bed and lean back, since the slanted ceiling made it impossible to do so. In addition, the room was only reachable by a spiral staircase! The elevator only stopped at the floor below. When we asked for a more comfortable room, we were told that was possible only one of the two nights, and the second night we had to go to the attic room. We chose not to accept that offer, as the idea of carrying our bags back and forth over the staircase was not appealing. We also had the impression that we were not given the room we had reserved. Hotels.com had charged us 50% more than the price of the "attic" room listed in the hotel. This was not a pleasant experience at all.

We were very happy with the hotel and the food was delicious. The staff were all very pleasant and the owner was very ftiendly and helpful. The only downside was there was no bar or lounge to sit in after our meal. That would have been fine on a warm evening as there was a nice patio area.

Sur la carte menu etait marqué poisson blanc avec risotto et en plus nous avons demandé confirmation au serveur. Finalement c était poisson saumon avec purée pomme de terre. Le serveur n a pas remarqué ce changement

Un séjour enchanteresque après les courses hippiques sur Vichy. Une très bonne table, un grand confort et un personnel gentil et compétent sans ostentation. Adresse à retenir et à conseiller

Sehr schönes und modern eingerichtetes Zimmer, gut sichtbar und mit Kamera überwachten Parkplatz sehr netter und höflicher Empfang, macht einen sehr sauberen Eindruck.

Un très beau séjour ! Tout était parfait et une équipe fort sympathique !!

Honestly, this is the place where you want to stay! Wonderful surrounding and interior design. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. And fo not forget to reserve for a dinner menu: stunning and amazing!
