Clean room comfortable bed quiet area and walkable to all the sites. Also, plenty of easy parking directly at the hotel. Breakfast buffet had several hot dishes like eggs sausage very good. I would definitely stay here again

The room I was given had an amazing view of the Reichsburg. Clean room and bed. Staff were very friendly as well making my stay even better.

Only 10 minute walk to restaurants and stores.
Negatives:
The ceiling is slanted on the side of headboard in the room we stayed. And we banged our head on it a few times. And I’m only 5’2”. As careful as we were, it happened.
Only other negative was when we got breakfast and one of the ladies told us we couldn’t sit on the table by the window with 4 chairs, (it was only my husband and I, we’re Hispanic). She told us we had to go to a table for 2. There was 2 white ladies also on a table of 4 next to a window and nothing was said to them. Then another white couple came in and sat down on a table for 4 and also nothing was said to them.
That feeling left a sour taste. I can understand if they needed room for more people but the eating area was big and not even half full.

This is a superb family run hotel in a quiet location with beautiful views of the river and castle. It has ample parking and is within easy walking distance of the old town of Cochem.
Our room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable with good facilities including a large balcony with table and chairs.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods, beautifully presented and served in the lovely restaurant with large windows giving a direct view across the river to the castle. There are also great terraces for use in good weather.
The basement has a small gym and sauna and the terrific facility of an honesty drinks/wine fridge.
We really enjoyed our short stay at the Hotel Am Rosenhugel and would love to return in summertime.

The hotel was situated at the quiet end of town. Room was comfortable and very clean, Balcony provided lovely view of the castle. Personnel was welcoming and pleasant throughout stay. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

This is a great hotel in an ideal location for exploring Cochem and the surrounding area. Huge bonus having parking.
Our room was very clean, large, quiet and comfortable. It was perfect. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.
The public areas were very nice with amazing views from the dining area. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful very welcoming host. Very comfortable beds. Good size rooms. Dinner in their dining room was excellent and they provide a full breakfast. Close walking distance to other restaurants and wine tasting rooms. We would certainly stay there again.

We had a view of the castle from our room that was spectacular! Pictures posted are what was expected and the town just a few minutes walk was great for wine tasting and restaurants right along the river! Would definitely stay here again!

Sehr sehr angenehm überrascht
Sehr sauber, modernes Zimmer, hab das schmale Doppelzimmer gebucht, mit Balkon, könnte von dort die Reichsburg sehen,
ruhige Lage, und ein großer Parkplatz dabei
Sehr leckeres Frühstück Buffet mit allem was man braucht um den Tag gut zu starten, dabei vom Frühstücksraum kann man die Reichsburg sehen.
Das Personal sowie, ich denk, die Besitzer an der Rezeption sind sehr sehr freundlich
Ich kann das Hotel zu 100 % weiter empfehlen 🔝
