ibis Dresden Zentrum

First thing is that this hotel has 2 separate buildings. So choose the first one near the train station as this has the reception. Made the mistake of going to the second one…which was quite confusing and hilarious at the same time… Food: breakfast is roughly cold cuts of meat and very few hot choices which is a letdown. I think this is more of a German thing. Staff: needs to smile more and be more accommodating. I have only at least two staff at the reception who smiled and welcomed me the rest are miserable at reception! Room: generally new and clean. They will only clean it when you request it to be cleaned otherwise it’s more of the environmental impact that they preach. Will I come back? Probably.

Great value in the inner City of Dresden. Close to shopping and most of the tourist attractions. Reception staff is responsive to your requests and can recommend restaurants serving local specialties. Breakfast menu has a vast selection of sweet and savory options, so I am sure one will find something they like.

The location is excellent for both transportation and site seeing. One particular staff Rami stood out among the rest. He made sure all my needs were met and assisted me with my travel needs. Lots of dining and shopping options due to location .

Fine enough but no extras like a fridge (but will charge 10 euros daily) ice bucket, coffee station that most hotels of this level offer. It was very sparse but clean

Great property right near the central station! Close to the walking mall and walkable to sightseeing. We found the room clean and well-maintained. Athe location is excellent. Definitely recommend the hotel. Great value!

Ibis Zentrum Dresden was clean and really close to the Dresden Hbf making it easily accessible. It backs onto a pedestrian area full of shopping, dining options, and a place to spend time on a nice day. We had a great stay.

It’s a nice central location close to train station

Very basic. No tea trays. Asked to borrow a kettle and they had all gone (cupboard they're kept in was tiny). Same issue with iron. Rooms very small. Access to water is difficult

Very convenient location, right at the centre close to parking spots (of the hotel and other parking providers), with the added benefit of bicycle storage space behind the hotel. The staff is polite and the overall stay has added to our positive experience in Dresden. The breakfast buffet has got broad options, including beverages. The Ibis Dresden Zentrum is a 3-star hotel, with value for money for sure and at a central location with proximity to churches, shopping malls, cafes and sightseeing spots.

The property location was great as it was conveniently located near the hbf and shopping.

Only problem was there are 2 Ibis hotels close to each other but reception is in only one of the hotels. There is no restaurant available at night. Otherwise clean and comfortable, good breakfast available

👍 staff were great and friendly. Eco friendly room service. Snacks available and water available. 👎 the beds are awful really not comfortable . The room was way too hot. The windows said do not open so I turned on the AC to wake up with a sore throat when I asked about the AC they said it doesn’t work and to open the windows. The windows open 2/3 inches. The shower 🚿 does not stay a constant temperature it rotates from freezing to the temperature you are trying to get it at. I stayed 4 nights and for what it was - it was really expensive and I’m very disappointed.
