Mercure Hotel Berlin City West

It was a good stay, the hotel was good but not great but did the job as we were only staying for a few days. Breakfast was good and the staff were all very helpful even with the language challenge

Hotel is old and cannot hide it but everything works as expected. Bathroom is a little bit creepy. Room was clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

Comfortable hotel in West Berlin. This hotel feels past its prime and would need remodeling and a serious paint job. But despite that, rooms are comfortable and the bed is fantastic. There is plenty of parking space in the street near the hotel. And the hotel is located a block away from a delicious bakery named U-Bäck. Downtown Berlin is about 25 minutes away by car. There is also a subway stop next to the hotel. Nice staff.

It was great, but the WiFi in the rooms didn’t work

Checked in for 1 hour and had to book a hotel else where, lock did not work and front entrance all smashed up

Helpful staff in the evening. He let me park my e-bike in the courtyard and loaned me a phone cable. I can recommend it as a base in West Berlin.

Great there is 24h checkin, nice staff, comfortable room and great washing room.

Paid full through Expedia for 2 rooms 2 nights. The hotel automatically down graded from Junior Suite to double twin cheapest rate rooms, without issuing credit, refused to provide recept upon checking out in person as I asked for it with my dispute purpose comparing to original booking through Expedia. Plus, listing "parking included" IS NOTcorrect. Guests have to find any available street side parking, not provide from the hotel. It seems that the hotel never own any parking spot.

Area not to look safe at night and also saud parking including but no you have park on rd at your own risk

Does not have own parking lot… hotel has only street parking… I had not a problem in finding a free spot but not sure if I was lucky or it’s always like that.

This hotel was very expensive for what it was. When we arrived in our room, there was no shampoo or shower gel in the dispensers. I had to ask at reception twice before they were filled. The hotel is located quite far from the centre of Berlin. The swimming pool is not heated and is too cold to enjoy, even on a warm day as it was during our stay. We were the only people in the pool and could only stay in for a couple of minutes before we had to get out due to the low temperature. The wifi is very poor. It is incredibly slow and only worked intermittently. I can't comment on the breakfast as it was not included with our stay (despite the high cost of our room) and was too expensive to pay for separately, so we decided to eat elsewhere. The room was a good size and fairly comfortable, but I can't really recommend this hotel for the reasons mentioned above. If it had been cheaper, it would have been worth it, but not for the price we paid.

The AC was not working. I wish they had told me that before my stay. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Hotel is in need of an update. Very tired and worn. Area is okay you can walk to a nice forest within 30 minutes and supermarket across the way. Not worth 4 stars though definitely 3 star hotel maybe less.
