We had a flight cancellation from Athens to Santorini. We booked for 2 nights at Hotel Perissa. We couldn't make it for our first night. When we finally made it to Santorini, Freddy picked us up from the airport. Freddy is so kind and made us feel so at home. Instead of charging us for the first night, HE gave us one extra night for free. Freddy went above and beyond to help us and we appreciate his kindness. Thank you, Freddy. You are an AMAZING man!

It was close to the beach, supermarket, staff were excellent, very polite and helpful. I wouldn’t say this hotel was a 2/3 star but more a 4 star due to the fantastic friendly service they provide. Fred transfer from/to airport and excellent value for your money. Tty above what I was expecting.

Very small room, no space to move around! Paid for 4 persons. Room should have bigger! Bathroom condition is not good! Broken tile at the front. I don’t think I booked this room. Photos of different room were shown during booking. Expedia should delist this property.

We only stayed in our room for 4 hours and that was 4 hours to long. The room was filthy and so were the utensils. Likewise the bathroom looked like it had never been mopped. If we had arrived during the day we would have booked alternative accommodation or have given the room a good clean. The staff were rude and we have never encountered this in all the holidays we have spent in Greece. This is the first time I have wrote a negative review but I would feel sorry for anybody who would have to stay for a longer period.

disgusting, smelly rooms with no windows in a basement. dirty sheets with hair all over. you do not get what for and the site does not solve your issue we left the hotel after first night because we could not bear the smell and no windows

Rustic, clean & pleasant staff. The hotel is basic apts we had room 46 (with proper balcony). Other apt’s seem to be one bedroom room with toilet/shower so the extra space & privacy helps. The pool & bar area are nice but sun beds need replaced as many broken. (However, given nature of current circs guest numbers aren’t there to merit change but needed for when things return to norm). Bedroom basic with stone floored bed with mattress on top not the most comfortable. Plus side , free airport pick up & return , air con & a lockable safe type cupboard, full size fridge. The hotel is a distance from Perrisa & beach at least 15-20 mins & similar up hill to village Emporeio (visit and have a walk round to castle & church quaint walk as is the village of Megalochori) Supermarket a 2 min walk & Platis grill is nice simple food and best house wine bargain 4.5 euros. theonis coffee shop opposite supermarket good for simple breakfast. Hotel caters as well and what we had was good. While we enjoyed stay primarily as hotel was quiet & uncrowed sadly its not one for us to run back to. It’s Greece as we remember 30 years ago & would want more comfort , Kamari seems a nicer more modern resort & would recommend. So thanks to Freddy and the team we enjoyed our stay. If it’s rustic this is for you.

There is pretty much nothing around the property of Hotel Perissa that is easy to get to. The property is big and the pool is nice but traveling to and from is inconvenient. Our shower did not have a curtain and also did not have cold water so it was almost impossible to use. There was a hair dryer, but it was broken.

All the exterior is super nice and so is the pool and bar. The people were awesome, kind and helpful. But all is old inside and the bathroom wasn't clean. It is quite a walk to get to the beach. The bus station isn't too far but you can't count on the buses to be on time. There was a supermarket and a good bakery less than 10 minutes walk.

I liked the room, it was great with the door open and the cool island breeze drifting in. The pool hours are short and end at 20:00 which is fairly early but the pool itself is very nice and a perfect relaxation spot right by the bar and restaurant of the hotel. The only other thing I’d mention is that the room did have a slight smell when there was no air being let in. Otherwise a great stay and I’d think of returning!

They try to make problem with our reservation, the rooms were dirty and bathroom toilets were leaking also were leaking..
Also inside was nobody Greek all were Albanians.. after 3 days in Santorini I saw almost all were Albanians... Very bad attitude...
I don't recommend this hotel... Try to find another with same price

Fabulous large pool with restaurant/bar attached. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The free airport transfer was much appreciated.
Nice large rooms, but beds were hard and uncomfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower, but no toiletries and the roughest towels we’ve ever encountered at a hotel.
The beach is a (hot) 20 min walk in July. A little hard to do with an infant and toddler, but the bus is easy to take there instead.
It’s a long drive from Perissa to Oia, but Pyrgos is close and delightful.

Free transportation to the port from the hotel! Friendly staff. They do daily cleanings of your room. The pool is nice and clean. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Perissa black sand beach, 7 minute walk to the supermarket and bus stop. There were a LOT of mosquitos so bug spray is a must. Very pleased with this hotel for the price! We would definitely stay again.

The outside of the property was beautiful. The white and blue buildings, the gardens, and the pool was kept nicely. Our room however, was not clean. It had a musty feel to it, the sheets and pillow cases always felt damp and the floor was sticky. Cleaning service came everyday, but I think they just make the beds. The shower rarely had hot water and when we asked for it to be fixed the water was scalding hot. There isn’t a proper shower drain in the bathroom so the floor is soaked after every shower. Having a fridge and a safe in the room were nice. Freddy drove to a few places for a small fee and picked us up from the airport for free, so that was nice. The price is amazing, so if you’re looking for a deal and don’t necessarily mind not feeling clean, this could be the place for you. I wouldn’t return though.

Very cozy location and great size pool. Reception check out was a bit of a challenge because I had to do it in the middle of the night in order to catch a return flight home. Also transportation to the airport not available for odd hours, must make arrangements prior.

First they forgot about my reservation,then they gave us a smaller room than what we paid for the first night and after our complaint we sort of got the room we paid for. At the end we were supposed to get free transfer to airport for free, but instead we were charged the transfer fee. Not going back there and don't recommend.
