Away Bali Legian Camakila

Staff amazing and very friendly and professional. Food in restaurant limited options could do with changing the menu. Drink menu good. Spa service Deborah and Senly were amazing. Tri from restaurant and the Guest relations manager outstanding customer service. Nimas was wonderful helping organise my husband's 50th birthday celebrations and the food and beverage manager for letting us store the birthday cake in the fridge. Overall a wonderful stay here and will recommend this property to other friends and family.

Great location. Surrounded by Supermarket, money changer, laundry service and plenty, transport and restaurants.

This is a great central area to everything with great beach views from the pool. Their food compared to the bars , restaurants, and beach is a lot more expensive and the quality is poor. Their spa is expensive , and the work not as great as the spas outside. We have stayed there twice, our first experience better than this one. Terrible bathroom and not as clean as first time.

Food was ordinary

This hotel was very nice, with a few exceptions for us. We had a poolside room on the ground floor which was very convenient. Staff were awesome, and we enjoyed the gardens and the convenient proximity to the beach and also there are some convenient shops and bars around the front of the hotel, like laundry, chemist etc. On the negative side, the bathroom had a bad smell which didn’t go away … even with a bowl of perfumed liquid which staff lit in the mornings. The breakfast offering didn’t have a huge choice of food in the main bain marie’s. However, lovely coffees and in general the food was definitely adequate. Some loud music in the evenings came through into the rooms at night from the bars across the street, but thankfully they didn’t play too late into the night.

Food was fantastic and the staff service was amazing. Room was spacious and modern.

Lovely staff nice rooms very clean unfortunately not at all suited to anyone with any sort of walking impairment example broken hip in a walking needing walking frame wheelchair any sort of problem with walking there is huge amount of stairs everywhere stairs to the restaurants stairs to the pools and not just normal steps long wide steps deep one lift way down the other other end of the resort holding maximum maximum three people in the lift there is no emergency phone very primitive, would not stay there again for these reasons just too hard. A holiday is supposed to be easy. This was not.

Great hotel, needs a bit of maintenance but good for the price. Air conditioner was a bit noisy

Spacious, updated and very clean rooms. Nice large cool pool was perfect on those hot days, with lovely gardens around the property and surprisingly quiet given the location. Food was very good, and staff attentive and friendly. Plenty of options outside the resort, with nice walks in all directions, on the street or along the beach. Very satisfied with our stay with wife and 11 yo son.

Clean and quiet modern but felt closed in. Friendly staff but as with most places limited english language .

Loved the hotel, breakfast just didn’t like the pool areas

Our stay at Away was great.Lovely helpful staff .We celebrated our birthdays while staying .The hotel spoilt us with birthday cakes and song also beautiful message laid out on our bed. Tha ks agsin Away f I r a very memorable stay.Cheers Kevin Suzanne.

We stayed here for 7 nights this trip. It was our third time at Away Bali. We had a pool side room for the convenience of having our own sun loungers and so we can just step from our room into the pool. The rooms are large and spacious, my only dislike is the shower over the bath in these room types. I would much prefer a walk in shower as at almost 60 years of age find them a slip hazard. The room was clean and has everything you need in it, breakfast is always amazing. Staff are simply the best no matter weather it’s at check in, cleaning, breakfast, pool side drinks and food, restaurant, spa or security they are all amazing. We had a couple of issues this trip on arrival there was broken glass on our sun loungers and around them but feel it was the fault of the idiot staying above us as he also kept throwing his cigarettes off his balcony also. House keeping also was a little slow at cleaning it for us, it did take three requests but was all thoroughly cleaned up. Our other issue was the aircon was ‘cooling’ the room but wasn’t cool enough at night time when trying to sleep so requested that to be looked at and again took 3 requests to get it sorted then it was finally nice and cold. We would definitely stay again as we love the location

It is a very nice resort.But did request a room down the back of the resort as we were staying 9 nights it is so much quieter down that end of the resort have stayed there before so new the room we stayed in so put in request for that room or another room around it which there is quite a few but put as up the other end and had to put up with people partying around the pool and half of the people were not even staying at the resort other than that it is good value for your money close to the beach .

We had a great stay in a garden deluxe room. Great position in hotel. Generous breakfast. Great location for travel around Bali. Staff wonderful.
