The most worthwhile hotel around Bandung square I think. Although from the outside it looks like an old hotel, the inside is still very well maintained. With a price of less than 400 thousand but you get a spacious and clean room, fragrant and get a pretty good breakfast. I have stayed at Hotel Kumala twice and will always make this hotel my place to stay when I go to Bandung City. The access is very easy, close to strategic areas and just walking distance to Lengkong Kecil, the heaven of street food in Bandung. The point is I am very satisfied with Hotel Kumala.

Nyaman, bersih, AC dingin, air hangat berfungsi, dapat perlengkapan mandi, air mineral, teh. Juga ada teko listrik. Lokasi strategis, mau ke Braga, alun-alun bisa jalan kaki. Di belakang hotel banyak kuliner saat malam hari.

The location is very strategic, close to Bandung square, Braga, and Lengkong Kecil, the service is also good, orderly and friendly, however, there are several things that could be improved from the hotel facilities, such as the power outlets, bedside lamps, and room telephones, all of which are not working.

The place is clean, quiet, with complete toiletries, but there are no hotel slippers. It's close to the city, so exploring Bandung at night is still okay, and there are restaurants nearby. Affordable price, complete breakfast. Awesome!

plus points:
- the room size is quite spacious
- the cleanliness is quite good 8/10
minus points:
- the hotel is old, the building and properties are very old-fashioned
- many properties are already rotten
- the elevator is narrow, a maximum of 4 people is already tight
- lighting is lacking
- if you are staying with more than 2 people, it is better to find breakfast outside the hotel, because even if you add children, you will be charged an additional fee (and the taste is not enough in my opinion) especially seeing the bread being cut makes you not enthusiastic
