Hotel O Wesly House

Checked in at 9 p.m. and got a room on the 4th floor. I suddenly entered the room. The lights were very dim, flickering. I reported it to the staff. They said the lights were like that, so I asked for a room change. I was given a room, but I was willing to accept it. However, when I entered, the room smelled of cigarettes. I checked the condition of the bed. I found a pillow stain like the one in the photo and the smell of sweat. I complained. But the staff said it had been replaced and that no HK could replace it. At the time, I was tired from the flood and needed to rest. Seeing all this, I immediately filed a complaint that night. When guests violate the rules, we have to pay a fine for stains on the fabric, but what they received was a stained pillow. Do you not have quality control over the cleanliness of the facilities you provide? For the 260,000 Rupiah I paid for all that, with dim lighting and a smoking ban, and entering the room, the smell of cigarettes is highly undesirable. Honestly, I'm very disappointed with the facilities provided. There's only one towel, because I paid 260,000 Rupiah, not 50,000 Rupiah. The facilities I received should be better than the 50,000 Rupiah price.

While it's still suitable for single travelers or backpackers, the facilities need to be reviewed and further maintenance is needed. Wi-Fi access is good and easy, and bathrooms and towels need to be upgraded to be more comfortable.

Not bad for a temporary stopover. It's worth the price.

I like the room, at first I only wanted to book one night because I only needed one night, but when my exam schedule was rescheduled, I decided to stay in the same place for 4 nights because of the comfort of the room and also the access to eateries, Alfamart, Indomaret, Gajah Mada Park is very close. With a price below 150 RB, it is very comfortable for me. The AC is also good and the room is clean.

The room was very dirty, the facilities were broken, the bed was dirty, full of stains, and the bathroom was very small, maybe only 1 x 1 meter. Very uncomfortable.

Not recommended. Everything, motorcycles, sheets, pillows are all yellowed, not fit for use. The toilet is rotten, the lights are dead. Suitable as a horror tourist spot on the 4th floor.

This accommodation became my savior in Medan City on February 11, 2025 after being rejected by two accommodations on the grounds that they were no longer working with Teaveloka and other applications. So, be careful when booking accommodation in Medan via the app, guys! This accommodation itself is quite worthy for the price I got, although it looks like it is not well maintained as seen in the photos.
