This hotel is very clean, even though the building is old and has a traditional concept, it is very well maintained, the area around the hotel has lots of plants so it is very cool, the swimming pool is clean, the rooms are large, complete with tea and coffee heating pots, there is a small terrace in the back garden, large windows leading to the garden , the bathroom is very clean even though it looks old, the hot water pressure is strong and good. Very comfortable Puri Dewa Barata hotel with very affordable prices.

Check-in is fast, the place is comfortable, the rooms are spacious, every day the room is tidied up. Receptionis and all staff are super friendly, pool is nice. The evening pool feels warm, near Seminyak Beach in the cafe. Eating can also request white rice, delicious omellette. You can rent a motorbike and a car near the hotel. Satisfied if you go to Bali here again, thanks.

A very relaxing place to be in a very busy city. Clean & well attended hotel. The pool was a great plus, again clean & the temperature was perfect. Breakfast was fine. The only negative was that the fridge died & was not attended to in time but overall; great!

My primary concern for this property was that it is limited in terms of amenities, and it was not cleaned very well. My niece pointed out that the rooms on the site looked good. But, the rooms we were given were the least amenable. My bathroom attached to my room was not cleaned. From the standpoint of a hotel in the middle of Seminyak, it was beautiful. But that’s about it.

Mouldy, old and not maintained There’s nothing about this place to recommend sorry Stayed in the 2 bed villa which is their best apparently but the 2 rooms they aren’t even attached but seperate stairs outside to reach second floor. Amenities are old and broken , no hot water down stairs shower has mouldy curtain and floor. Pond in outside area is a mosquito paradise and can’t sit out there with being attacked. Internet is spotty and didn’t work in our room . Moved out after first night to better hotel .

Well, the first thing to consider about this hotel is it one of the few remaining Traditional Balinese style hotels. This will mean that there are some things that are not to everyone's liking. We on the other hand loved it, comfortable, well priced and placed, great staff and beautiful grounds. Other Guests we met varied from 10yr veterans who used this place every visit to first timers like us. Nobody had a bad word to say and were more than happy, greeting each day with healthy smiles and appetites'. Would I stay here again, the answer is yes, now I know my way around better, but I would also like to be closer to my family there, so it is a hard trade off. There are many higher rated hotels in Bali, I guess it depends on what you want to do when you are there. We used this as a home plate for going out and return to, but later my wife and her son went off for three days Island hopping and I just enjoyed the peace and quiet, a swim. a drink and whatever else I felt like doing. I did mention quiet in my list of choices, that is subjective. Balinese youth like to have loud exhaust on their bikes and there would be particular times you might hear them, so noise can be something else. The other type of quiet is serenity in a beautiful garden, lounging or floating in the pool. You can tune out the sounds of the bikes. This was my first trip to Bali, it is also the first time I have had a holiday being able to physically and mentally rest since I joined the Army in 1981.

It needs a lot of love. For all the options that you can found in that section of Bali, I think you can find something better for the price and something way better for some extra dollars. It feels dirty, sheets and towels in bad condition and not exactly giving the impression of clean. We like the pool area.

One of the last truly Balinese Hotel.Friendly staff and a good breakfast .Rooms are spacious and lovely. Great Aircon, tv has 60 channels, good fridge and kettle. Bathroom needs updating. Especially the shower, the whole floor gets flooded, needs silicone.
