An old establishment with beautiful regional architectures! Even the room shows minor age from the time, I personally still prefer local flare than ultra modern hotels. One thing of disappointment was the water quality of the beach. I preferred not to step into ocean in front of the hotel! But the pool was fantastic!

The age and the size of the property on the beachfront. Very little left of Old Bali. If you want bling, don’t stay there. If you want to experience the best of Bali, then do stay.

I enjoyed the friendly staff. Every day I had a pleasant conversation with a staff member, such as at breakfast or at the pool.
I enjoyed ordering a healthy breakfast in the outdoor breakfast area.
I enjoyed going for a swim in the large pool and working on in the small gym.
I enjoyed having a nice drink in the evening at the bar.

Perfection! Balinese style rooms which have been updated and clean. The staff were super friendly, your room is serviced twice daily, free shuttle is offered around Seminyak - drop of anywhere along the route, buggies from room to reception. Surprise cake and card was left in room for birthday, pool access was 24 hours attended - luxury feel

Beautiful property, right on the beach and a just a quick walk to town. Great location, near restaurants and shopping. Is an oasis amid the cacophony of Seminyak. The service is amazing! Can’t say enough about what a great experience we had. The villas are huge and very well designed. Only negative in my mind is that the beach isn’t great but the pool is.

Drove by the Oberoi Resort often while staying in Ubud over the past several years and often thought of staying there. This trip I had two reasons to stay there. I wanted to avoid the traffic on the long drive to Uber and I wanted to be near the airport small reasons to stay in a hotel with a great reputation, but they worked wonders for me during this stay Bali has become a traffic nightmare which all but the most blasé visitor will want to avoid. The Oberoi is a paradise in the midst of all that. A 40-year-old gem that has only gotten better with age. A well managed, nicely, staffed resort that quickly lets you forget what Bali has become. If I return to this formerly wonderful. island this sill be my home!

All the staff were so kind and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and special. The hotel is in traditional Balinese style with beautiful grounds that are well kept. There were many special extra touches that makes this hotel ahead of all others
