We loved our time at Tuk Tuk Timbal Bungalows. We stayed in one of their traditional rooms, which we really enjoyed. Great menu available for all meals. Staff was super accommodating with transportation to and from Samosir. The passenger ferry will pick-up/drop-off directly at the property, so contact TukTuk ahead of time to make arrangements!

The most quiet cottage all over Tuktuk area. It's like you have your own private lake, and the sound of nature is remarkable. Singing birds, the wind, the waves, you can hear clearly. The place is so clean, wonderful services. Two-thumbs up. (Tips: choose weekday rather than weekend)

100 PONT from me. At first I only asked about accommodation from the tuktuk port to the hotel. In fact, I was offered to be picked up by the hotel (free) by car. I just sat relaxed enjoying the trip to the hotel about 15 minutes. Then Because the hotel owner is a blood mix. They are very understanding, friendly and polite. They are very friendly also polite. The room I ordered is a standard type for 2 people (even though I come alone). the room was very clean overall. Can pepsoden, soap, tissue. There is also a water heater so it is safe if it is digested. And also no AC no problem. Because the weather is cold here. Samosir's island is cold despite the hot sun. Because I was around 11.00-15.00 in the afternoon, I went around Samosir to Panguruan (out of Samosir. Then when I got home I was taken back to the port by the owner's son who had picked me up when I arrived. taxibike.

I love the atmosphere. It's truly a healing place. As soon as I open the door, I immediately see the beauty of Lake Toba. I'll definitely stay here again if I visit Samosir again. The room is also spacious.

The place is very comfortable, right on the edge of Lake Toba. You can hear the sound of the lake at any time. There are also many chairs around the bungalow to sit and look at the beauty of Lake Toba. Check-in and check-out are also very easy. The restaurant has quite a variety of menus too. We ordered several kinds but unfortunately some of the menus tasted too salty. Maybe before ordering, you can request it first so that it is not made too salty. Overall, I recommend Tuktuk Timbul Bungalow. If there is another opportunity, I will stay here again.

Family vacation for 2 adults + 2 toddlers. Choose a traditional house that contains 2 single beds & was told that the beds cannot be moved/combined. You must bring your own toiletries, towels, everything. The mat was very thin & the nightstand smelled musty so we didn't use it. The road to the location is quite steep but still smooth, make sure the vehicle & driver are adequate. The plus point is that the bathroom is clean & modern, there is hot water from the shower. The view directly faces the lake & you can play on the edge of the lake. For the price, I still recommend it.

Good location, but the direction to the hotel is a bit steep especially at night. The bathrooms are stagnant, and the water sanitation is not good. The hotel owner is not friendly, the overall is not bad because the location is good, directly facing the lake and Ambarita port. Strategic location because it is close to the port.

The perfect place for healing and getting out of the hustle and bustle of the big city, from the boredom of work. Most like Lake Toba, which is only 4 meters from the front of the room, the room is clean, the bathroom is very clean and healthy, there is a window, the food in the restaurant is delicious and the price is not expensive. Stayed here with family for 4 days and 3 nights and plan to come here again. Tutuk Timbul, don't change, keep the bungalow concept like this.

The location is directly facing the lake. But far from Tuk Tuk center. For just a staycation it's suitable. Very calm. Private. have fun. The pineapple fried rice is too dry. Mie Gomak lacks a Batak touch. Less kecombrang and reliable. Even though it is included in one of the specialties Arise menu. The waiter is a bit jutek. When I want to change my order from Fried Fish to Fried Chicken. Because I asked if there was enough fish to eat for 3 people, his face immediately became strange. Even though I already apologized for changing the order. After the order was finished, he immediately ate, even though my water order had not been delivered. But overall, it's really good. Maybe I will come back here again.

The hotel location is very close to Ambarita Harbor. The atmosphere is very beautiful facing directly to Lake Toba, at night the sound of gurgling lake water can be heard from inside the room, of course it is very cold. Don't worry, the water heater is very good. So that a warm bath feels good. Highly recommended, see if the price is dropping again. If you're lucky, you can get a discount from the application. Very suitable for family time, I will come with my wife later, see you Tuktuk Timbul Bungalows. 🥰
