So, a nice Hotel, not The cheapest. But appeared to be good value for-money.
When I book a hotel as we are on a motorcycle trip, I book hotels with a restaurant and if possible a swimming pool. When we got there, the restaurant was shut-down and so was the swimming pool. There was no mention in the website or on Hotels.com or an email maybe to tell us that we couldn’t eat there. They are not centrally located so it was a long walk to the nearest open restaurant. The staff at the front desk just didn’t seem to care. You got the feeling that we weren’t rich enough or important enough to bother with.

I was not aware I would not have any of the amenities that were listed (pool access, gym, etc) I would have stayed at another hotel if this had been communicated. Additionally, the air conditioning was broken in our room and it took me three times talking to the staff before we were moved. Lastly, the staff was not welcoming which made the stay uncomfortable.

Just stayed one night whilst travelling. Had room no 55 which was close to reception and was disturbed at night hearing people at the reception area. Other than that had a great stay - comfy modern room, good breakfast and pleasant staff.

The location was lovely, the beds were among the most comfortable we encountered in Italy, and we imagine it's generally a lovely place to stay.
However, we booked our stay here in large part due to the beautiful swimming pool advertised in it's listing on hotel.com, and when we arrived there was a sign up that said the pool was closed for the day due to a private party. We'd had a very hot day and we were very much looking forward to a refreshing dip, but the gal at the reception counter promise that we could check out late the following day so that we did at least have plenty of time to enjoy the pool before we left. This was a bummer, but acceptable.
We then realized that the private party was a very loud wedding that went very late into the evening, and you could hear the music everywhere on property. Again, a bummer.
The next morning I got up early eager to go swimming in the lovely pool with the waterfall, but when I got up there it was clear the hotel staff had not cleaned up the night before. When I got down to reception, there was a sign up now saying that the pool would be closed this day as well for cleaning. When I let the staff at the front desk know that I've been promised the day before that I would be able to use the pool today I was met with an indifferent shrug of the shoulders and an answer that it's not possible. When I ask to speak to a manager, I was told that there were no managers on property.

Liked the hotel in general, but especially the restaurant at the hotel, good quality food.
Sauna was nice, but temperature could not be regulated upward.
The only downside of this experience was the extremely loud music/sound at the gym/sauna, I like to have my sauna in peace, not with high volume music. Beyond loud.
