well , where do I begin , our tv screen in are room was mess up where you could barely tell what you were watching , the wifi was mostly not working in the whole hotel , they never put fresh clean towels in are room everyday and most of all we had to ask for toilet paper because they never refill it in are bathroom. The parking was really bad because you had people who were not staying at the hotel putting there cars in the hotel parking spots which made it harder to find parking , ..It was a beautiful hotel , great pool and good breakfast but they really need to retool and work together on making a hotel comfortable for the people paying alot of money staying there .. I do not recommend this hotel ...but i will come back to Vieste ... (:

Lovely pools and excellent beach - sandy, shallow water very suitable for children Mostly friendly helpful staff especially at Reception and bar pool. Comfy bed Clean room with balcony 15/20 mins to town and very good choice of reasonably priced meals Bathrooms could do with an upgrade Breakfast buffet same every day. Good pastry/ cake selection but sometimes in short supply Tinned fruit same everyday. Fresh fruit same - hard kiwis, tasteless oranges, seeded grapes amd apples Evening food very repetative. Not always enough buffet starter even after 10 mins opening. Same fresh fruit as breakfast and 1 dessert sometimes same as noght before. At €25pp not particularly good value

This hotel is definitely not 4star service. Pool has no towels and was freezing cold. Breakfast is basic. They cater mostly to bus tourists, so not a great individual resort. They are across the beach and if you want to use the beach you have to pay extra. The only reason we stayed there was close proximity to Vieste Harbor to take a ferry trip to Tremiti islands

This actually turned out well, despite a poor start and a few frustrations the room was spacious, the breakfast was fine and Vieste itself fabulous. Our balcony unfortunately looked out into the roof of the dining room, but again was clean and spacious. On the downside the hotel is not what we expected - being within a holiday village rather than freestanding on the seafront. The check in was complicated by the news that in addition to the "resort fee" which we knew about and was clearly stated as being due to be paid directly, we needed to pay 14 euros daily for a beach space. In the end at check out it transpired that the resort fee was only payable until 31st august, and that was why the beach was extra. Hotels.com could make this clearer as the combination of poor English of the hotel staff and our beginners Italian made a problem that didn't exist. Beach spaces needed to be booked daily at the front desk and varied in price depending on location and date. WiFi needed to be renewed daily by getting a new code and need to be re-logged in after each use - we only used it once since it was such a palaver. I suspect that the clientele is mainly Italian, but for non Italian speakers things would have been made much easier with the use of a written welcome pack in the rooms detailing costs and processes.

The hotel was massive with lots of great ammenities and very clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional. The actual rooms were dated. We got upgrated to a superior room with two bathrooms. In the main bathroom the water would not adjust properly and the shower was horrible. One day I took a cold shower and the next day it was too hot. The shower was also very small and I could barely fit. The wifi was also horrible. It says that you have it, but you really don’t, so don’t expect it. Aside from the bathroom and wifi the resort is pretty good. The location is also amazing.

A nice hotel with big, clean rooms and good air con, based right next to the beach. Staff were friendly. They have a confusing, rigid system for being placed at the same table every morning and night at dinner, which could be a lot simpler and more comfortable for guests. They charge a lot for extras e.g. €14 per day for a spot on the beach with a sun longer, shade & deck chair. They also charge a club card fee on check out which is for use of parking, the pool and the beach, whether you use these or not, so this all adds up and becomes quite expensive. However, the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the old town and right next to the beach and local coach station. I would consider staying again about the charges for beach and club card are reduced. The dining service situation could be improved (just have a person at the door taking your room number and then leave you to sit wherever you like). Overall, a clean, safe, comfortable hotel with a good location in central vieste.

This is a modern hotel ideal for family holidays. It has an excellent pool complex and a beach area the other side of a busy road. It is 800m from the busy and attractive old town where there are loads of good restaurants and bars. Budget for an extra 7 euros pppn for their compulsory Hotel.Club membership.

We stayed for five night in the Melograni Hotel in September 2015. It was a typical seaside hotel. We were extremely disappointed to have to a wear an orange wristband for the duration of our stay, if we knew this in advance we would not have selected this hotel. This was necessary to distinguish hotel guests from campers and apartment guests. The hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. We had lunch twice in the hotel and were very disappointed with the second course. I would suggest having meals in the town itself as there are numerous restaurants with superb food and much cheaper than the hotel. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town itself. The hotel pool is well managed and no problem getting a sunbed, swimming caps must be worn at all times in the pool which I found strange. The beach is across the road from the hotel.

Cons: - Old, dated or cheap furnishings in the room. (for example, bed seemed cheap, not very comfortable, same with pillows, bedspread seemed old and cheap) - Cheap Furniture (for example: cheap plastic chairs on patio, with bird droppings on it) - No view to speak of - Beautiful pool that no-one uses -- beleive it or not, they force you to wear an old fashioned (1950s, style) swim cap that they want to sell you!!! Unbelievable... - Advertise that Internet is included, but it doesn't work in the rooms, multiple trips to the lobby - Outdated TV's in some rooms - Room did not feel clean -- (For example: Shower mat was not professionally cleaned... seemed dirty) - Only 3 Hangers in our closet! - Noisy -- sound proofing is bad - Flies in lobby and on balcany (maybe a regional issue?) - Lobby was not "four star" quality (cheap furniture, not attractive decor) - Bad (cheap, unattractive) lighting in some of the rooms Pro's - Staff was relatively nice - Location was interesting, some pretty beaches - Breakfast was good
