I stayed at Hotel Museum for the second time and once again found it to be a wonderfully cozy and welcoming place. The staff are exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The room size was ideal for my daughter and me—spacious enough without feeling overwhelming. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just steps from the Vatican. You can even see the Vatican walls right from the front of the hotel, and the Vatican Museums are conveniently located just across the street, up the stairs. Getting around is easy too—the metro station is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. One of my favorite parts was enjoying the morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace—a perfect way to start the day with beautiful views. Throughout the day, the hotel offers complimentary pastries, tea, and various coffee’s which was a lovely touch. I will definitely be returning whenever I’m in Rome!

The hotel was centrally located, basic and clean, however my son had money stolen from his bag in his room. He reported it to management who claims they reported it to their insurance company. There are many other places to stay that are safer with more comforts.

Location was extremely convenient for the Vatican museum, and not a long walk to St. Peter's. There were good restaurants in the area and an easy walk from the Metro A line. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided me with information on a walking tour that covered many of the major sights - it was a lot of walking but hopping on the Metro was easy for the return trip. The room was clean and perfect for a single - twin bed with good air conditioning.

1 block away for Vatican museums Our room had a nice balcony and slept 3 comfortably. High ceilings. Breakfast on roof was a nice small buffet. 1st tine in rome and we would stay here again. Walking distance to subway. Being from nyc it was easy to figure out. 7 euros for 24 he train/bus service was perfect. But be prepared to walk.

My sole reason for booking this hotel was for its proximity to the Vatican and it didnt disappoint. I planned to see Pope Leo say mass which I successfully managed after a mere 5 minutes walk away. Yes the room is small, the shower is literally the smallest I have ever witnessed in all my years of travelling, BUT, the staff were super lovely and couldn't be more helpful if they tried. The room was clean, the shower worked, that's all I needed, and it was cheap given its location. If you want a big fancy room then dont book this hotel, if you want a great location with good amenities and great staff for a great price - this is the place for you.

A very good location, the area is full with life and tourists, just few steps from the Vatican Museum and very nice restaurants on its door step, literally. Ottaviano metro station is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We stayed there while Rome was hit by a heat wave, the AC of the room was on 24/7, the room is very clean and the staff are very friendly and eager to help. I am very satisfied and I highly recommend it.

A very Italian property with typical rooms for Rome. Very comfortable and quiet at night. Close to the Vatican City, you can see the walls. The breakfast in the upstairs patio was excellent with fantastic views .

Staff is very friendly and helpful - this is a great place to stay if you have a lot of tours lined up - the front desk is staffed 24/7 - there is water and drinks available for purchase 24/7 and rooftop was nice and breakfast convenient in morning. Giving a 3 since the AC was not able to be used during my stay (guess it’s a law so not really the hotel’s fault but it was too hot and muggy and had to leave my windows open all night with no window screens -
