It's a quieter part of town in Tokyo. Look elsewhere if you want the hustle night life towns like Shibuya and Shinjuku offer. APA is usually very consistent and offers good value for your money, this one was no different. Good amount of restaurants and convenient stores around the area. About a 5-7 min walk from a JR train station.

It was very close to public transport, only 3mins by foot to the Asakusabashi Station. The area felt quite safe, even at night and there were plenty of food options (although that is generally no problem in Japan if you do not mind Konbini food).
The bathroom could have been a bit more clean (some light stains on the bath curtain) and they forgot to give us amenities for two people, as well as towels. However, the staff was very fast to react and called us via the room phone to check about those missing amenities and towels without us asking.
All in all - this APA hotel was good for its price!
would recommend this hotel if you want to safe some money!

The staff is super nice. However the room is really small. Not much room to maneuver if you have a checked luggage, a carry on and laptop backpack, and traveled solo. Hard to imagine two people can fit in the room.

Room was in average condition with moderate wear and tear. Fairly sure we booked a non smoking room however it smelled as though had been used for smokers previously, check out time is really early 10am, if you want to extend the check out hours it costs ¥2000p/h. Decent price and friendly staff though.

This hotel was great! We were lucky enough to get a corner room which had a little hall way so we could lay all our suitcases out. The staff were so nice and accommodating! The area is fantastic, so many shops and restaurants! And the train station is only a couple minutes walk. Overall fantastic!

Before booking this hotel, I had heard that APA hotel rooms are all quite small and that proved to be true with this one. Was that an issue for me? Absolutely not! I was travelling solo though, so I am not sure how it would be with another person, but for me it was perfect. Just what I needed, an affordable and clean place to stay, while I was off exploring every day. It is the smallest room I've ever stayed in, but it's cozy and I actually really liked it. It has a really good sized bed, mini fridge, nice tv and I loved the desk. Had a little open closet by the door, which had plenty of space for my suitcase so it was kept out of the way. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved the location! It is close to subway stations, so it is very easy to get around. I loved walking around the area at night, though the vibe during the day was also fantastic. I was able to do a late check-out. I could have simply kept my bags in their storage area, but it worked out better for me to just extend my stay by 3 hours. It's only been a week, but I already miss it!
