Really good property, standard APA Hotel room. Very spacious and roughly a 6 minute walk from the main Himeji station. Good for solo travelers and dual travelers. Solo travelers can fit their check in, carryon and personal here. Two people can, but if they pack a tad lighter.

It's a super clean hotel, really gorgeous interior. The staff is so polite and so very helpful! They made sure the Takyubin would take our luggage to Kyoto on time for the next day, was so helpful to us! They were great! It's a shame the room and bathroom are so small, but it's a Japanese hotel, so that's how it is in this kind of hotel. Good price for what you get.

Cost effective, nice place to stay in Himeji. Close proximity to town, restaurants, convenient stores, JR station and famous Himeji castle.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Shower space was odd and water couldn’t be contained in the shower so floor was fairly wet. We were able to watch a movie in English which was a welcoming respite after being on the road for 12 days. Also the location was perfect to walk to the Himeji Castle and garden area and many reason Otemae-dori street.

We arrived at 1.30pm, which was earlier than the 3 pm checkin and asked if we could have an early check in if our room was ready. It was heavily raining outside.
We were informed that we could check in early for a fee of 10000 yên. We have travelled to Japan many times and have never experienced this.This response was not welcoming and inhospitable, given the terrible weather that day. We felt that an exception could have been made.

Comfortable and well equipped for a short stay. Rooms are a little smaller than some similar hotel chains, but perfectly OK and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. UK TV news and English language films were a plus.
