We arrived at 1pm but checkin is strictly 3pm to 5 pm. When we came back at 3pm one of the rooms was not ready (which was not discovered until at the room). The next room offered smelled strongly of smoke (despite being non-smoking). So a third room was offered and accepted. We also had to pay a 1000yen per hour for a 2pm late checkout when the hotel was clearly lightly booked. Considering the fuss over the rooms some flexibility here would have bee good customer recovery.

Nice and a quiet place with bigger rooms and better in-room facilities (such as jacuzzi in baths) than in other similar hotels around. Well worth the 300 meters extra walk if you are not using the taxi when it is +2 minutes from the main road. Short walk to crayfish restaurants and elsewhere makes for a very convenient location. Subway station 100 meters away.

APA hotel is an old and run down building. Our room was spacious, but the mattress is lumpy and uncomfortable, and the bathroom color scheme is unsettling. At night, the place sort of felt haunted. 3/5 stars because it has everything you need, but just isn't the most comfortable.

The stay was outstanding, but a recommendation would be to work with the Chitose Bus company to make pickups at all the APA's ion the area. You are right in Susukino and everything is withing walkingf distance. Train or from Chitose to APA id good.

Good location near subway (trains) and restaurants. Room was smaller than expected and indicated by photos. Window in room was very small and couldn't be seen out of. Ceiling height was low adding to the feeling the room was small. Carpet was warn with holes in places. Room was more suited for a short stay budget business traveler. On asking, an alternate better room was not available.

It was a nice hotel but the hotel is pretty old. The sink and bathtubs are pretty old but still in good condition. The rooms carpet has stains but overall the hotel is pretty clean. I guess overtime, stains are inevitable. To change the flooring may caused the hotels to closed down for certain period of time.

Location is not very accessible to the Malls and central, need to change train 2 stations stops to The Central Sapporo station and a distance to walk in the interchange. Hotel staff not very friendly.
