Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Taiko dori Side

Firstly we accidently booked a smoking room with kids so on arrival requested for a non smoking room. The place was booked out so we couldn't change rooms until the next day. Staff were very helpful and attempted to help as much as possible. The smoking room and non smoking room made a big difference in cleanliness and vibe. So be sure to check or else like us we had to have the windows open , AC and air purifier on all night and the smell never went away. We book for 4 people but only was accommodated for 2 in the room on the first night with 2 pillows and 2 towels only, Had to request for more pillows but they ran out and asked us if stuffed pillow cases with towels were ok. Not like there was much of a choice anyways. So the start of our stay felt like a nightmare. We changed rooms the next day and everything was different. Room felt cleaner and fresher, there were 4 sets of pillow, towels and pjs. We had better sleep and my children could sleep in peace.

It is close to JR station. A 24-hour supermarket is just 3 minutes' walk away, and a convenience store connects to the hotel.

The hotel staff was wonderful! Helped us retrieve things we left in the room after check out and stored a lot of our luggage as we waited to catch our train to next stop. Clean, and good showers and good breakfast. Excellent location for train station.

Very good stay

Walkable distance from Nagoya station and various day tour pick up spots. The room was clean and big. I had a deep soaking tub. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. They helped me called my next hotel to check if they are able to receive and hold my luggage. Unfortunately i forgotten to take photos. The photos in hotels.com does not do the room justice. The room look bigger and in real life. One thing to note, the hotel only has 3 levels with washing machine, you may need to wash your clothes at odd hours as there are not enough to go around.

7-11 in lobby along with Vietnamese Restaurant that also serves as breakfast buffet area. Staff at restaurant always seemed stressed out though. Shower was great with a tub in the shower room itself. Food was good. Laundry available on three floors. Wish it was a little closer to station but only 9 minute walk to Nagoya Station

Room was very wide, good queen size bed; The bathtub was excellent by Toto.

Easy to access, spacious standard twin-bed room with good layout.

The rooms are not what you see on the photos. They are too small; and too expensive. Breakfast is poor quality and not recommended for family traveler

i have been to other daiwa roynet hotels and this hotel will not disappoint. Just a few minutes from Nagoya station. A lot of malls, restos and convenience stores nearby. 711 and animate just outside the hotel. staff was friendly and easy to talk to. will consider this hotel the next time we visit nagoya :)

The hotel is very close to Nagoya main station, there are quite a lot of resturant and convenience stores. 7-11 is just located in hotel level one. The only downside with this hotel is the room is quite small.

Convenient location and easy to get on Shinkansen! There's a 7-11 connected on the ground floor and an anime store beside the building.
