The name did not disappoint, great view of Mount Fuji. The grounds were meticulously groomed. This was my first visit to Japan so I was quite out of sorts. Given that, the staff was friendly and helpful patient despite some challenges with the language gap. The room was clean, well equipped with amenities and everything worked.
The onsen also was a new experience for which which I found enjoyable. I have nothing to compare it to, but this one seemed nice.
For anyone looking to do a Fuji excursion, relax for a view days, or have a romantic weekend, I highly recommend. However if you are looking for late night dinners, and walkable things to do, this may not be the best option.

The staff are exceptional : genuine and respectful. The staff welcomes us every year when we return. After we climb the Mt Fuji and unable to walk further from our car to the main door, the staff will greet us from afar and help us with the luggage’s, not for tips but for their professionalism and values they cherish much.

What a lovely place to enjoy Fuji views and beautiful surroundings at Lake Kawaguchi. We had a wonderful stay. Didn’t have a car so used the shuttle daily to get to town and back. Also the green line bus that stops just a block or so away. The Onsen is delightful. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous - and recommended since there are almost no shops or restaurants nearby. The observation room was perfect for relaxing and viewing Mt Fuji. Room was small but comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Just a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.

Loved the Onsen, food very expensive compared to other local restaurants. Grounds looking tired and areas not usable. The Green bus runs and stops just outside making it easy to get on the tourist buses.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The breakfast provided was delicious and we got to enjoy the bikes for hire to go to the Mt Fuji cable cars. All the staff was incredibly attentive and the view from our room was just stunning - I will always remember our stay
