Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusabashi

Robots for receptionists, small room, hard beds with really crap pillows, good location, no block out blinds as such woke early with the sun.

Check-in process is very easy, I can type all information before I arrive to the hotel, then I just use QR code to get my key. And, I like their luggage storage services.

It was really close to places I need to visit and have restaurants near by. The rooms are smaller tho.

A simple hotel close to transportation. Rooms are small and the robot experience is a bit strange.

Very close to Asakusabashi station. Only downfall was the limited offering for amenities and services when checking in. I did not realize it was a “robot” hotel so I struggled for a bit at check-in (which was my fault), but was a little nervous leaving my baggage in the hallway lobby for “storage” before I checked in.

Incredible staff that goes above and beyond. This hotel is also located 5 minutes from the train. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location was great - so close to a train station and with so many dining and drinking options. I loved that it was within somewhat walking distance (26 minutes) to Kappabashi kitchen street. The downsides were that the room was cramped with a giant steamer taking up space, there was no storage (just 4 hangers), and their safe didn't work. But the bare bones amenities seem to be typical of "business hotels". You basically live out of your luggage and don't have a spot to lay out your clothes. You also never see any staff because the front desk is a couple of robots. Other than those minor things, I would stay here again because of the great location.

Staff were so helpful and polite, room was a good size with all modern amenities. Only draw back there was no tv channels in any other language than Japanese but that’s fair enough

We loved the location of this hotel. There are so many izakayas and noodle shops around. The metros are all very close by.

Great place many places are in walkable distance, if not there is a train station close by.

The area was safe, and quiet, and easily to reach to akihabara will stay again

The hotel is located near the Asakusabashi station. It is closer to the JR west exit than the other exits nearby, including the subway. It was within walking distance of Akihbara as well, so it was convenient to access shopping and dining options, and was quite central in terms of visiting other locations of interest within Tokyo. Upon arrival at the airport, the reception is not staffed, but instead is outfitted with talking dolls. It was quite...creepy... when I first arrived. It was not immediately obvious what I should do and what I should expect. I figured it out, but I think it was better to not have the dolls in the first place and just have an automated system. It was also very strange for the hotel to ask for the hotel tax at check in rather than including it with the room rate upon booking. My impression is that the hotel is quite budget conscious. For example, while guests were allowed to retrieve their own amenities from a common area at reception, no tea powder was offered, which I thought was standard at such hotels in Japan. Another example is when I booked a room with 3 beds, the hotel only provided linen for 2, which has never happened in any of my hotel stays in the past. They wanted additional money for the 3rd guest, which was fine, but this could have been made clearer during the booking process. Despite that, the wifi worked well and the hotel room was clean. I had a good night's rest.

The robot staff was highlight!!!, easy transport from both airport (narita / haneda) , lots of restaurant and convinian store around highly .recommend area

Can get to anywhere in Tokyo due to the amount of train choices nearby. Tons of food choices and drug stores nearby for supplies.

Quick check-in and check-out Very clean and provides fresh towels everyday.

Clean hotel

This is a no service hotel by using eco friendly. No receptionist, only limited room service even stayed in for four nights. However, I still found several good points there, bath room and good shower, good breakfast except the poor coffee.

We stayed for 4 nights, they didn't do daily clean up in the rooms. Didn't even exchanged or wash coffee cups. Didn't vacccum the floor
