久しぶりのサウナつきカプセル宿泊でしたが…スーパー銭湯は普段よく行ってますが懐かしいサウナは新しくはないけどスーパー銭湯のように子供も居なく落ち着いてリラックスできました。
特筆すべきはスタッフのサービスの良さは★★★★★でとても気持ちの良いことでした。

This place has 5 floors and one slow elevator. They put me on the 2nd floor capsule, 4th floor lockers, 5th floor spa , 1st floor shoes. A lot of work to come and go at this place from changing your cloth to getting your shoes . No signs in English glad I was there for only one night.

This is not a normal capsule hotel. It is a men only spa and sauna ‘resort’. You have to wear a uniform they provide and you cannot take your thinks up to you room. Nobody spoke english, which is fine of course, except it was very difficult to understand the rules when they can’t be explained to you and there are many. Also worth noting the showers are communal/ traditional showers. So if you’re not comfortable with nudity around others probably not the place for you.
Staff were very friendly, but wouldn’t call me a taxi for instance.

Nice place, very nice service and very clean as everywhere in Japan. The building is a bit old. Smoking areas are on the way to the rooms.

First of all, no tattoos. None. Nada. I saw a guy refused access to the showers because of his tattoos.
Second thing, being 6'1 I found the capsule a little short. My feet would dangle if I was fully extended.
The capsule was very hot even with max ventilation. The ventilation is also noisy, so light sleepers beware.
The entire third floor smelled like cigarettes. Being a non-smoker I found it most displeasing.
The staff was awesome and helped me check in properly. The shower and spa section was clean and an experience. Very secure locker system and I felt safe leaving my stuff in a locker downstairs in the lobby. Great placement and a 15 minute walk from shin-hiroshima. The price was also hard to beat.
This isn't a terrible hotel, it just didn't suit all my needs.

This is a mediocre capsule hotel. Located in a seedy area of Hiroshima far from the main streetcar line. No common lounge area to hang out or surf internet. Allows smoking in common areas, which wafts into sleeping areas. Would not stay here again. There are better capsule hotels for the same or cheaper price.
