Hotel Edel Warme

Staff was nice, breakfast was good. Hotel is a bit dated, rooms are very, very warm. Bathroom is tiny and very tight. The step up into it is funky.

A lot of cafe or restaurant around the hotel were closed. The hotel is a bit noisy : you can hear kids running when they are in the room above yours, in the corridor. It's not well sound proof. The hotel staff was excellent. The fireplace is amazing

The hotel was very nice, clean, and the staff were very friendly. Our sheets and towels were changed daily and there was an onsen on the property. The 5 min walk to the gondola was also very convenient. The only things I didn’t like was the lack of a laundry service and the buffet was just average. I really enjoyed my stay though and have already recommended it to friends travelling to Japan. I will be back next year!

Hotel was fine , for beds they were not comfy whatsoever and anytime I brought an issue to their attention or asked them something they had an excuse ,

Pros -Free parking -Receptionist try to understand english by using translator. -Room cleanliness -Next to ski equipment rental shop. -Free open public bath (female & male separate).(This is not onsen suggestion good onsen at the New Princess Hotel $Y2000+/pax). -Hotel provide shuttle bus to ski area (schedule provide during check in) Cons -Location abit far from the ski and kitanomine (New Furano more nearest but $⬆️） -Hotel abit outdated -The breakfast serve individual set, small portion of each(1xfish slice,egg,veg,salad,3xbread), the drink, miso soap and some Japanese traditional veg snacks only buffet style)( I personally dont like the foods) - no laundry

The room was rather cold even though the heater was on. The room was small too. However, the hotel was clean and has a good view. Will recommend for not too cold days.

It's a little old and worn round the edges but clean and functional. Has everything that you might need.

Main suggestion would be to move breakfast up earlier than 7 like many other Japanese hotels. We had to leave before 7 for something and hence, missed breakfast, in spite of already paying for it during the reservation process.

A quiet and convenient place to stay and within reach to attractions place. No other dislikes.

There's a big parking lot in front of the hotel. A hot bath is available. It's very close to the skiing trail and gondola. They have very helpful front desk who tried every way to answer all the questions you may have. The hotel is not new, yet well maintained and clean.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Everything works as they should. However, the toilet, like what others have mentioned, is really tiny! It's comparable to the toilet you would find in a cruise ship's stateroom. So if toilet is a dealbreaker for you, you may wanna look for another hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is free parking onsite. The hotel is located very near town. There's a supermarket and McDonalds just 5 mins drive away. A 24hr convenience store is just 5 mins walk down the road. Overall, the hotel probably needs a refresh. Besides the toilet, I'm happy with my stay here

Hotel is good and reasonably priced for our stay. A lot of newer accommodations in Furano have become pricey. Twin room was comfortable and more space than a double room. Fridge had freezer compartment which was handy for keeping ice (purchase at 7/11 one block away). Had a nice view over the city. Heaps of good restaurants close by. Handy hotel shuttle to the slopes.Most important, the hotel had a good sized and clean onsen. Would have been nice if the open fire was going downstairs more often.
