Great hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From breakfast to the shopping and food mart I had a great experience will be back.

The hotel is excellent. It is located in the middle of an entertainment and shopping area and is very convenient to go out from, but taxis cannot reach it directly. It has everything needed for a vacation, and the staff is kind and helpful with anything. The hotel also has self-service laundry facilities. The hotel is very clean. One thing that bothered me a little is that the rooms are cleaned each day in numerical order, and since our room was last, we could hardly rest in the afternoon because they always came to clean our room only around 3:00–4:00 p.m. Our friends stayed on the floor below, but it is not possible to move between floors and meet. The only way is to go down to the lobby and ask the receptionist to specially unlock the elevator for the desired floor.

This hotel is spacious and the bathroom setup is excellent. The toilet is in a separate small room, the shower and bathtub are in another, and the sink is outside, which is super convenient when traveling as a couple or with family since all three sections can be used independently. The location is fantastic, and it even has direct access to a 7-Eleven located right below the hotel, which is very convenient.

We stayed at several places in Kyoto and Hotel Gracery was the very best value - great room at a good price.

Excellent day we had a very comfortable day at Kyoto

The hotel provided all amentaties you can think of such as facial masks, bath salt, toiletries, and daily water bottles. The front dest staff went above and beyond to help our big luggages delivered to out next hotek in Tokyo. The room barely has any walking and luggage space, especially with the sofa bed set up for the 3rd guest. The separated toilet room smelled extremely moldy that I had to hold my breath everytime I was in there. My family purchased the breakfast once and it was pretty descent for the price.

Great location with shops and dining options right below the hotel. Rooms were a good size and very clean with a convenient mini sofa and table to allow for a quick snack/meal grabbed from the 7-11 downstairs. A bit of a walk to the nearest metro ~8-10mins.

I stayed at Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo and it was absolutely perfect! It’s about a 10–15 minute walk from nearby subway stations, but I honestly didn’t mind at all—because the walk takes you through the Teramachi shopping district. I was enjoying seeing the area that I completely walked past the hotel at first, distracted by restaurants, karaoke spots, kimono rentals, a cat café, and even a samurai museum! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the amenities were excellent. There’s a beauty bar available to all guests with facial cleansers, lotions, razors, toothbrushes—everything you might need. It felt like a thoughtful and luxurious touch. The rooms were clean, cozy, and modern. You use your room key card to activate the electricity and control the lights and AC. The beds were super cushy, and the room even came with bath salts, face masks, and a full pajama set, which reminded me of a ryokan experience! The bathroom layout was impressive: the toilet had its own room, while the bathing area was designed like a mini onsen. There’s a sit-down washing station and a deep-soak tub—I could submerge up to my shoulders, and it was heavenly! Hotel Gracery also practices strong sustainability (SDGs). Full room cleaning is every 3 days, and if you opt in to the eco program, they still provide fresh towels and bottled water as a thank-you. Overall, I absolutely recommend Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo!

The hotel is beautiful. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom. The hotel is in a perfect location being only a 15-minute walk from the train station, 50m from the amazing seafood markets and 5 minutes to the gardens.
